Comments: This light is excellent. The housing and reflectors are very good quality and the coral love it. The only bad I can say is similar to other reviews, the paper coating on the lens is hard to remove. It will take longer to get that off than set up the whole light. I also had to clearance the hood on my tank since this light has fans (very quiet) on the end, rather than the top or rear. Overall an excellent light!

Comments: pros. good lighting, hinge works well, seperate cords for daylight, nightlight and moon light.

Comments: A great light as this is replacing one I bought around 2000. Eleven years, a lot for anything made in this day and age.
<br />One real complaint. Start using a plexi light cover with protective material of more recent vintage.
<br />I had just finished telling one on my employees a few days before why plexi manufacturers had replaced covering their material with an easy to remove vinyl vs. the paper they used for the last thirty years.
<br />Took me almost an hour and a half of laborious peeling to get the paper off and came close to just packing the whole thing up and returning. PLEASE update your plexi stock!

Comments: For the money, its a good fixture. Individual reflectors, fan cooled. The fan has a noticeable hum. Not terrible, but not as quiet as my Aquactinics fixture. I'll have to see how it holds up over time. Its replacing my Marineland fixture which burned out the ballasts in 2 years.

<br />I am extremly happy with this unit and would not trade it in anytime soon for something different. JBJ really set themselves above the rest with unit offering just what a consumer in the SW Reef hobby is looking for - lighting and design with a few bells and whistles without a hefty price tag.
<br />On my 75g tank taking in a reduction for live rock and sand, I am running 3.8 watts per gallon (a horriable, crude way to rank light btw) which is enough for someone like myself who will be keeping soft corals and low/moderate lps.

Comments: I setup a new 40 Gallon Reef Tank (moved up from a Oceanic BIocube 29 HQI) and decided on this light. After dealing with Coral Life lights (My view bad products built cheap)What a great choice! I am very pleased with what this baby puts out! Beautiful color...the mixing of the blue and violet bulbs make for a great color combo in the tank. Corals shine and fish pop!..The fans are super quite..Each light is on it's own plug so you can run blues/daylight/moons independant...the flip up legs are a great idea! Moon lights are very bright...my only personal complaint is I like white moon lights over blue...looks more real. Great performance for a really nice price!

Comments: Its nice and quiet for 1. the fans on the side are very powerful and you can feel rather hot air being ejected. the reflectors are nice and give a good par value.the feet are indented so you are able to still use a versa top if you like. the only reason im knocking off a half a star is because my Moonlight LEDs have never worked. i must have gottn a defective one. i prolly wouldnt use em anyway due to my room being too lit up to sleep.

Comments: Perfect lighting for my saltwater tank. The blue night lighting is beautiful to see, and allows you to view your tank at night.

Comments: So far so good this product was definitely worth the money. The lights are bright especially the moon lights.The only reason I'm giving it 4 outa 5 stars is because the screws for the legs are practically worthless. they dont tighten so I gotta be careful lifting the light.Other then that its a great light,and company did an excellent job wrapping it up with plenty of bubble wrap. 5 outa 5 stars
