Great so far!

I just picked up a 30 gallon acrylic aquarium (used), and it came with an old fluorescent hood light. I decided to look around for a cooler, more energy efficient LED model. I came across this by searching for a freshwater designed LED light (most are geared towards saltwater). I really liked the fact that I could use one or add on if needed, so I took a chance and bought a single fixture. It's actually brighter than the fluroescent light was, so light output is not a problem at all with this light fixture. My tank is 30" wide, so I got the 30" model. It just rests on top of my aquarium, as the light runs the full length of the tank so the end hooks don't even touch the sides on it. It looks very cool...you barely even notice it's there. So far, so good...I'll post a follow-up when I get some fish in there.
