I was hesitant to try this tank because it had just came out on the market and there were literally zero reviews on it. That being said I am very satisfied with my purchase! The glass my not be low iron but it is thick (8mm) and the bent corners look really sharp. Good quality for sure. It is a shame that people complain about products like these because you get what you pay for. I priced rimless starphire glass aquariums around 100 gallons and I was looking at over $1000 just for the tank. On the other side of the coin I bought an All Glass 125g from my LFS for $200, but the glass sucks and its just a big rectangle with no flair. Can't have your cake and eat it too. The silicone in the sump area may not be perfect but who the hell cares, you can't see it anyway. Both my return pumps work great and you can easily fit a skimmer, heater, ATO, refugium, etc in the sump. This tank has alot more space than I thought. I have 5 fish, 4 shrimp, and probably 20 diff species of coral and it still could house more fish or inverts. If people pay $200 for desktop nano tanks (i.e. nuvo fusion by I.M.) then I'd say $400 w/ free shipping for a 45 gallon rimless isn't a bad price. By far the best tank I have ever owned! Oh and it also helps when you put a Hydra 52 over top of it ;)

For the price I can't complain; got it here on black Friday for a great deal. It has the potential for a great setup, but it is not not solidly built. Anything better would cost twice as much

First the good: I was really impressed with the packaging. The tank was put in a much bigger box with a truck load of peanuts to protect the tank, it was impressive! Now to the tank itself: upon opening the box and at first glance the product seemed very well made, but I soon discovered a few issues:- The sump area contains a number of baffles which are siliconed to both the back wall and the middle wall. However, all the silicone from the middle wall had detached, meaning that the baffles were only being held by the back wall- The round edges on the tank were a nice touch, but then I realized the front glass area was a little distorted (wavy). This became more evident when looking from the side; seemingly the process of bending the glass actually distorted the straight area as well. Not a lot, just enough to create distorted viewing when filled with water - Since the filter baskets don't sit snug against the mid wall, some of the water from the overflow falls in the gap between the filter and the sump, hence bypassing the filter altogether. It seems a diverter or better quality filter baskets (likely both) would help the issueI gave this 2.5 stars given the issues, but this may work for someone who doesn't mind doing some fixing - not something I was interested in doing on a brand new tank. The concept is good, the execution is less so.

The product was well packaged by Marinedepot, but, unfortunately, not packaged as well by JBJ, as one of the handles for the media basket was broken, and, the back panel of the stand was damaged also. The tank itself looks good.
