I have two large labs. One is dog aggressive. This collar when used correctly will train your dog to heel without causing damage to the dogs neck. Pronged collars have been know to pierce the dogs skin.
Both my dogs heel at all times during their pack walk.

I really like the way the collar doesn't get tangled in my dogs fur. It's very light weight and gives the same results as the prong collar but seems more humane.

Unfortunately, the advertised collar is not the one being sold. Although the packaging claims that it is a new and improved model, we found it to be a poorly constructed replica of the original product. The swivel loop has been replaced by an immobile ring that allows the connecting cords to twist and choke the dog as he/she turns. Also the small plastic restraining bead which prevented the end links of the collar from rubbing together is gone.
What a shame. The original was a wonderful training tool that could be used with even the youngest puppies and had wide public approval. Dog handlers will now need to look elsewhere for suitable products.
