Comments: Incredible powerful magnet that is ideal for medium & large aquariums. It takes 2 hands to move the magnet across the glass without creating undue pressure on the glass. The replacements pads are simple stick-ons and last for many years. Magnets are highly recommended but be prepared to use alot of effort.

<br />The kit should contain two felt pads instead of one since they need to be replaced as often as the inside velcro pads

Comments: Pretty much as good as it gets. Only way to have more effective algae cleaner is to have some sort of blade, which can not be left to aquarium for every day use.

Comments: The Great White magnet is a powerful cleaning device for acrylic tanks. These are the replacement pads kit and are probably good for 3-4 replacements with a replacement every 3-4 months.

<br />However, be careful or you will scratch your tank. Only use the rectangular magnet in the direction of the short ends of the rectangle not the long ends and watch for signs the pads are fraying. Finally, stay several inches away from the sand bed. Any sand trapped in the pads will have have disastrous results.

Comments: You should really replace your pads about every month. This does the trick very nicely. Very easy to apply on the magnets and you can really see the difference from your old pads.

Comments: These are great, no more ratty socks to slide over your magnet. If you leave the magnet in the tank, you clean it more often, and this way it looks good enough to do so.

<br />my only beef is I wish the pad replacement kits had 2 of each pads in them, my felt pads seem to wear out just as fast as the velcro pads do so over the years of getting replacements I have a lot of extra velcro's

Comments: This is a great product, replaces your pads for your Hammerhead float magnets, does a great job of cleaning acrylic tanks, for the price It should last a long time.

Comments: The exterior replacement pad appeared to adhere properly and flat, however after only a couple uses an edge rolled making it unusable.
