Comments: I've tried using this for about 8 months now. 90% of the time I got an error message. When it did register a number I was not confident in its accuracy as it could not reproduce it twice in a row. Even after recalibrating it every time with the standardized solutions it could not even read them back when I tried to use them as a test run. I sent it back to Pinpoint Marine 3 times and although the rep was very nice and prompt he could never find anything wrong with it. He had some helpful hints on how to use it but I still get error messages 90% of the time. The other monitors are great but unfortunately this one is not worth the price.

Comments: I purchased one less than 8 months ago and every time I try to recalibrate I get an error message er_p. When I go to the AM web site it seems there is no way to contact them to return it for testing! I will order new calibration fluid and try again and if that doesn't work give up. Right now I trust the chemical test method more!

Comments: Like the pinpoint and saliity monotors. This device is not
<br />intended for continuous 'monitoring'. I was needing to calibrate it before each use and found it taking longer to
<br />calibrate and run my tests than it does to use my standard
<br />chemical nitrate test kit. So there is really no time saving here.

<br />The obvious major advantage over chemical nitrate test kits is the digital readout. Like most, I find color charts difficult to read.

<br />IMPORTANT - DON'T GET IT WET!!! Mine died from a small amount of salt water splashing on the display. I don't think I will buy another one because of the high price.

Comments: I took a risk to try this probe out. Problems are that it does not hold its calibration and that you have to recondition the probe before each use. On avarage it takes at least 30 minuits to get a result. Not happy! Sometime in the future Ill compare the results in my lab with an IC.

Comments: Outstanding knowing exactly Nitrate levels in aquarium and effluients of reactors. Probe must be kept very clean to be sure to get proper reading
