"Everything I needed"
- Product Review by Sarah Wolfhill

Comments: I installed this chiller on my 29gal biocube. I'm keeping ponies and pipefish and without it the temp stayed over 85 degrees. I used the pump that came with my biocube, and by using extra length of tubing it reduced my flow rate perfectly! It set up quickly and within a couple of hours my water was down to 72 degrees. Digital temp read on the unit has consistently matched my old-fashioned mercury in the water. The unit does let the water temp increase by two degrees before kicking on, but it allows me to keep a perfect range. I have the setup inmy bedroom and it runs quiet enough to not disturb my sleep. Overall I am very pleased!

Comments: This is my first chiller. I'm using it on a ~60 gallon (tank and sump included). It works as expected and doesn't seem overly noisy. So far I'm pretty happy with it.

"AquaEuro 1/4hp chiller"
- Product Review by Robert Kennedy
(Posted on 8/7/12)

Comments: This isn't my first chiller so I knew to "supersize" in order to reduce the duty cycle. I went with the 1/4hp unit for my 90gal reef tank. I'm driving it with an Eheim 2270 canister (on the low side of the chillers rated flow rate). I am very satisfied with it's performance. I have read other reviews that mention a 2 degree variance between the setting and actual tank temp, but I think those reviews fail to overlook the operation logic. I run my tank at 78degrees and it varies between 78 and 80. This is due to the thermoswitch cut in / cut out points. The unit chills to the set temp and then cuts out. Cut in occurs when the temp rises 2 degrees above the setpoint. Overall, very satisfied. It's quiet, runs for about 5 minutes and shuts off. If you're thinking of buying any chiller, this one is a great price for very good product. Don't forget to upsize to reduce duty cycle and increase chiller life.

"Great so far!"
- Product Review by Mickey Amos
(Posted on 8/1/12)

Comments: The chiller is a great addition to temperature control for my aquarium. The only, minor, issue with it is that mine leaked around the intake and outake water manifolds. Also, there were no gaskets, or anti-leak, additions that were sent with it, so a trip to Lowe's was necessary. Also, teflon tape is a huge help, as well. Otherwise, it's great.

Comments: Chiller was very easy to set up and program. It has been up for about two weeks now and has done a great job. It is also very quiet and hardly noticeable. An excellent chiller for the price. I would definitely recommend this chiller.

"AquaEuro Chille"
- Product Review by Ralph Foose

Comments: Unit performs to specifications.

However, one would expect a chiller of this class to have a dual control, so the tank heater could also be controlled.

I re-wired the unit to a panel mounted dual controller, and installed my own sensor in the circulation system.

"Noisy but Works Fine"
- Product Review by Sukru Yemenicioglu

Comments: It is my first chiller, so I do not know how noisy are the rest of the chillers but this is a noisy piece of equipment. When it reaches to the target temperature it stops working and maintains the temperature by working as needed. As the noise is not constant, it is not so bothersome.

It cooled my water temp from 75 to 70 in a matter of hours. The temperature calibration was 1 degree off, which is fine.

"Nice Little Chiller"
- Product Review by Sherrod Allen

Comments: This is my 4th chiller. My first chiller that is AquaEuroUSA. Overall, very nice. Easy to setup and cooled my propogation tank off quickly. The only thing I do not like is that I had to adjust for a temp. variance between the actual tank temp. and the chiller's temp. When I made the adjustment, it still reads the WRONG temp. on the chiller. I have to rely on my other thermometer for the actual temp. It's an annoyance at best. Otherwise - I give this little chiller an A.

"1/4hp chiller"
- Product Review by Kevin Mai

Comments: I just recently purchased a 1/4hp with a rio 1700. The pump is a bit much for the chiller even though it's rated at only 642gph @ 0' and the chiller is 660 max flow rate. I'm running about 2' of tubing which makes it 486gph.(I have a small leak from the inlet hose and I'm assuming it's from too much water flow, so I'll just get a ball valve to fix that). Well all and all so far it's working well. The noise isn't too bad, it's tolerable..but the only slight downfall is that it's about a 2 degree swing from actual temp but that's no biggie..just set it accordingly. And as far as the price goes, it's priced on the low side which makes up for everything else. Also the company did a great job on their delivery, it only took a day for it to arrive but I live only an hour and a half away so that might of helped. Hopefully this is useful to some.

Comments: I was looking for something that could cool the tank quickly and was quiet. With this chiller I got both. Its runs quieter than a refrigerator and maintains the tank's temperature. Without this chiller my tank will heat to over 85 degrees. This was a great purchase.

"Great 'lil chiller!"

Comments: This is not the first chiller I have owned in my 25+ years in this hobby, in fact I used to own an aquarium store in Los Angeles 15 years ago and am still (and forever) in the hobby. This is, although the smallest chiller I have ever owned/operated and I am very happy with it. I have only had it a few weeks but with 93 deg temps outside and an room temp of about 82...the tank stayed nice @ 77. Easy to set up, yes you will need a pump, VERY quite and easy to navigate/collaborate.

Comments: The set up of this chiller was very simple. Have a pump for the unit, it does not come with one. You will need enough hose to run to the chiller from your tank. Otherwise, we are very pleased with this unit. The cost was very reasonable considering all the other ones available.

Comments: This chiller is supposed to be rated for a tank of 170 gallons or less. My tank is 280 and was running about 85-86 degrees. I put this chiller on and it has no problem with keeping the water at exactly 78 degrees. Very simple set-up.
