Comments: Switched from LED's back to halides on my small tank and bought this unit. So far so good. Quiet ballast. my only complaint is the bulb it came with was almost too long too pop into the fixture. The ceramic tips actually broke getting it in. Popped in an extra Pheonix 14k and it fit like my other halide fixtures. Since I'm reviewing the fixture and not the bulb it still gets 5 stars.

Comments: This is a great light. Well built and sturdy construction. I rely like the color temp making the greens and blues pop. The only down side is a very large and heavy ballast. But maybe you can't have it all.
