Great product & support Product Review by STEVEN B (Posted on 2/26/14)

Excellent!

Comments: Great product! Easy to program the timer. Simple bulb changes. Very quiet.

When I first plugged in the light, it had a couple of problems. There was this whine coming from one of the fans, and one of the manual light buttons would stick down, locking up the timer. A quick call directly to the manufacturer cleared up the problems.

The stuck button was due to the decal sticker over the button assembly. Loosening it fixed the problem, and they sent me a replacement sticker within a week.

The fan noise was from a wire that had moved up against the fan blade. The guy on the phone told me how to pop out the LED lights and check for a wire getting in the way. I bent the wire over a bit and have never had a problem since.

I'm using mine on a freshwater tank with live plants. I ordered the unit with the marine bulbs, and replaced 1 from each of the bulb sets with the corresponding freshwater bulbs. Looks great and plants are doing well.

T5 for the planted aquariums. Product Review by JULES A BIRNBAUM (Posted on 2/27/12)

Great!

Comments: These bulbs encourage plant growth and bring out the color of both fish and plants.
The only problem with all T5 bulbs is they are thin and thus fragile. Be careful handling the bulb.

Excellent!

Comments: These bulbs are great. I previously had 460nm Actinic bulbs in and had to replace them due to age. I decided to go with this 420/460 for a little more range in the lower spectrum. I am glad I did, not only do my corals like the greater range, the colors pop out a lot more. Would recommend these bulbs.

Setup: 125g saltwater fish and live coral. 12 bulb T5HO Lamp 6 Actinic bulbs and 6 AquaticLife Marine 700+ 10,000k bulbs.
