Great!

Comments: compact unit makes it easy to set up and tear down quickly. i'm fortunate to have a utility sink with a garden hose fitting on the faucet in the wash room of our finished basement. The RO Buddie sits nicely in the sink with plenty of room to spare. I run the waste line down the sink drain and set a bucket on the floor beneath the sink for the processed water. it takes about an hour to make five gallons at 80 degrees and 60 psi (from the tap). Using API's liquid test kits, the final product registers hardness of 1 degree for KH and 2 for GH, with a PH of approximately 6.4 to 6.6. If you buy this unit, pitch the cheap faucet adapter it comes with and make a run to the hardware store for some nice brass fittings and plumbers tape...you'll be happier.

My First RO System Product Review by GLENN MINOR (Posted on 1/13/14)

Excellent!

Comments: Very happy so far. TDS of my local water is around 380. My new RO Buddie has only been running for a few days, but produces water with TDS reading of just 12. That's better then what my LFS sold me on my last (hopefully) water run.

Easy to setup and no leaks. Discard the first 30 gallons produced per manufacturers recommendation. Check out the FAQ on the aquaticlife website for other good maintenance info.

More wastewater than RO water Product Review by BRIAN BERGMAN (Posted on 12/20/13)

Great!

Comments: Does exactly what it was meant to do.....but produces about 5 gallons of wastewater to every 1 gallon of RO water. You have to either have the waste line directly piped into a drainline or you have to sit and monitor it constantly to drain the wastewater bucket.

works very well Product Review by ANDY LAMBERT (Posted on 8/14/13)

Excellent!

Comments: this is my first RO unit that i am using to convert my 125 from freshwater to saltwater. This unit is very compact and the hookup was a breeze. When you first use it the flow will be marginal at best, until the membrane gets broken in. After that, the flow will increase a bit and the water will be clear instead of having a yellow tinge. Here in south Texas our water is filtered through our aquifer and is very hard to say the least. after using my friends TDS meter, i am happy to say that the number was near zero from the 300 range. For the price you cant beat this little unit. I highly recommend it!
