Comments: Take a good look at the picture. Hanging over a cube tank, your light will not be centered but it will be hanging over the back part of your tank. The mounting brackets at the bottom have to be mounted to the corners of your cabnet, so I can't imagine it fitting a rectangular tank since there would be so much distance between hangers. The ends of the hangers protrude only 17" so make sure this is far out enough into your tank. They were not long enough to fit my 40g cube so I returned them and stuck two pipes together with an elbow joint to make my own hangers. Hope this helps.

Comments: It is very sturdy but I wish this was made out of aluminum, will make setting up much easier. took me a while to measure and mark the appropriate drilling holes and the attachment base should be longer cuz the screw are too close to the edge of the stand, don't know if it will affect the integrity of the stand.

Comments: Using this for my Ecotech Marine Radion LEd fixture. Just did a minor DIY on the Radion hanging kit and it mounts on the Hanger with no problem. Looks much better than drilling holes on the ceiling. Especially with a 21 ft high ceiling that I have, it is almost impossible. With this hanger, the light is stable and will not swing at all because the wire was much shorter. Love it! much cheaper than any DIY hanger anyone can think of.

<br />They are easy to set up. I wish the instructions were bit more detailed as part of the mounting is vague, but otherwise, I have and will recommend them to anyone considering the DIY method. After the time, work and tools, and painting involved - these may even save you money.

Comments: I don't know if anyone else has made this mistake, but "1 hanger" is literal, and doesn't mean 1 set. I had to purchase the "1 hanger" option twice.

<br />Also, the product information available pre-purchase doesn't provide enough detail on the installation requirements and mounting specs. I don't know if with the "2 hanger" option you acutally receive a 'left' and a 'right' bracket, but the docs in the box make it sound like even the 2 hanger package has identical hangers. This made it difficult to install on my stand as the brackets had to be mounted 'offset' to allow a centered installation. Also note that it is difficult to hang a light with a cable positioned less than 8" from the back of the stand, which caused me headaches with a 17G tank with a depth(front to back) of only 12".

<br />The build quality is good, but I do feel that $100 for a pair of hangers is a little steep. With that said, I couldn't find a better option available.

Comments: I ordered two 2rod fixtures to hold my ReefBrite Metal Halide fixtures, hanging over my 75 gallon tank. Installation was easy enough(make sure you have some extra wood, a level and extender pieces for your power drill.) My tank stand is open in the back, so I had to install a 4 foot support for the bottom brackets. The extender piece is excellent! You do not need a second person to change the level of the lights. I have the lights perched off of the stand with chain that withstands 20 pounds. I was a little nervous at first of there being no back stopper, so I put electrical tape around the rod to prevent rolling.

Comments: i decided on making the purchase after deciding that a DIY is not that much cheaper than getting this already built.

Comments: Got a tell you a went with these on a whim. I first purchased the rack with my Aqua illumination LED's and with my 90G 18x48 24" deep setup it just didn't work as I needed my lights mounted in the opposit direction to get the PAR spread I needed. These racks would fit ANY application.They are easy to mount, very sturdy and adjustable to as high as one would want to go. They are VERY modern looking and everyone that sees the set up loves it. I always had a hood. What an awqesome change!!!

Comments: These are extremely sturdy hangers. I ordered them because I hadn't decided whether to suspend my ATI sunpower fixture from the ceiling or not. Once I received the hangers and dry-run attatched them to the back of my stand, I decided it was better to suspend from my ceiling. It is not a bad hanger, I just liked the clean look of suspension.

Comments: After making a million trips to Ace Hardware over the years trying to put together "attractive" fixture hanging devices for 10 foot ceilings, I couldn't believe my luck when I stumbled across these hangers. I was reading reviews for the Orphek light fixture and saw it mentioned there. Since two hangers were $80, compared to the $200+ devices I had considered before, I was not sure what to expect. It is SO much nicer than I thought it would be! It is also pretty versatile as far as ways you can attach each hanger. All I can say is thank you

Comments: I ordered two hangers to hang a Hamilton Belize Sun Fixture above my 40g Euro Braced Tank. Since I didn't want a hood above my tank I deceided to go with the metal hanger for a cleaner look. I was a little concerened at first because my stand has a lip around the edge but that was not a problem with this product.The mounting brackets are not flush with the pole so it could be mounted to my stand without the poles even coming close to the edge of the stand. It was a perfect outcome and I'm very pleased.

Comments: Not too bad for the cost. There isn't a lot of competing products for hanging lights for some reason. Build quality is solid however paint work looks hit or miss. Not a huge deal as it's easily re-painted in the future. Again, it's hard to knock a rather inexpensive product that gets the job done. Mounted mine to a Solana 60XL.

Comments: I love the strength that this light hanger provides it feel way more than sturdy,also it is fully adjustable for whatever u need. Plus it makes the entire setup feel way more clean. If I had to be picky and find things I don't like I would say to include the hanging wire but with so many different lights I could see why not.
