Comments: Great device. Easy to set up. You do have to have extra socks on hand since they do get dirty and the water flows over the sock instead of through but then it is definitely filtering the bad stuff out of the tank. I have four extra socks and I wash 3 out a time in the washing machine(extra rinse). Definitely worth a try!

Comments: This is a very useful item. First, if you're using a HOB overflow, the acrylic mount holds the end of the hose securely. The filter sock makes vacuuming out the sump unnecessary.

Comments: This is the second Mount of this type I have bought. I liked the original better because you can take it apart if needed (I am not sure of the brand), and the hang-on part actually fit over the edge of my standard 75 gallon tank. For some reason this one does not which forces me to customize it a bit. I like the idea a lot. The execution is bad, or maybe I just got a bad one.

<br />It works and gives you crystal clear water with a simple sock change every so often. Socks come clean in the laundry machine with a little bleach so they do last a long time.

Comments: I really like this product! Easy to mount and use. The filter sock goes on and off with ease. Very well made and of course Marine Depot is still very good at what they do. Don't hesitate to buy this product.

Comments: This product is great and it saves me alot of time when changing out filter socks. Very simple, pop dirty sock out, and snap a new sock back in. My only complaint is with the 1 inch tee. If the PVC tee and encap were not glued, but rather just screwed on. This would make it easier to remove/replace for larger plumbing.
