BioPet Vet Lab D.N.A. Breed Identification Kit Information

By finding out your dog's breed, you can easily understand its behavior, personality, and the possible risks to its health. Simply use the BioPet Vet Lab D.N.A. Breed identification Kit from Pet Store. This kit allows you to get the DNA of your canine without difficulty and safely. You can even do it at home and determine the breeds your pet has quickly and accurately.

The BioPet Vet Lab D.N.A. Breed identification Kit guides you through the simple and harmless collection of the DNA sample from your dog. The BioPet Vet Lab company guarantees you that this procedure is perfectly harmless. A cheek swab is all that it takes to get the genetic material. Then, the swab is placed in a paper sleeve, which is also provided in the kit. Together with the customer card, enclose it in a prepaid envelope and send it to the manufacturer. The lab will send back the DNA results in just two weeks.

The BioPet Vet Lab D.N.A. Breed identification Kit also includes a special ancestry certificate that you can frame and hang on the wall. A summary of the behavior, health, and personality of your dog's different breeds will be provided. Currently, BioPet has identified 62 breeds of dogs found in more than 90% of the mixed breed dogs in America. The BioPet Vet Lab D.N.A. Breed identification Kit is an exciting discovery that you do not want to miss.

  • Discover the breeds present in your dog through DNA
  • Get a better understanding of your dog's behavior, potential health risks and personality
  • Simple and harmless collection technique that can be done at home
The DNA of any dog governs the appearance of the dog as well as being related to the general behavioral characteristics of the breed. In recent years, there has been a great deal of research performed on how differences in DNA give rise to the differences that are seen between breeds.

Advances in DNA testing technology mean that it has become possible to identify the ancestry of any dog by performing a simple test using a cheek swab. The DNA required for the test to be run is isolated from cells that are trapped on the swab. All cells carry the same genetic material, regardless of type or location in the animal. Taking a cheek swab is therefore the easiest way to obtain the samples needed for testing.

On receipt at the BioPet testing site the samples are prepared and analyzed, resulting in a rapid and accurate determination of the breeds that have contributed to the makeup of your dog.

We believe that 92.5% of the mixed breed dog population in the USA is covered by our 62 validated breeds.

Excellent!

Comments: This is the second time that I have purchased the DNA kits from your company. The first one that I received back was really informative. Gave me an overlook of my 'pure bred' shih tzu, which did show 10% of another breed. The breeders that sold me the dog was astonished because one of them sold me a dog that had something else in the bloodline. Of course, I was just fine with my dogs and puppies, it was just interesting to know what else was in the bloodline.

I have sent in 2 other samples in last week and anxiously await the results.

Thank you again and I hope to do additional business with you.

Great!

Comments: A cheek swab is all you need to check your pet's DNA. They promise a 2 week turn around time and we received our results in less that that time. The results given state the breeds that your dog's DNA contain. LEvel 1 is over 75% of the DNA is from that breed
LEvel 2 is 37-74%, level 3 is 20-36%,etc. What I think is that a range of 37-74 is a wide range, and I would prefer it if they gave you a more exact %, but if your dog's DNA is level 2
that's all they tell you, not a more specific number. Our dog's DNA was a surprise to us
as we thought she was part Lab, and that did not show up at all. Overall I was pleased with this product and would recommend it.
