When landscaping your aquarium, you have to get the Boston Aqua Farms Ceramic Reef Plugs handy from Pet Store
. Each plug can quickly and effectively put your corals, coralline, and the like together in their proper places. Placed in a tiny hole, the plug serves as frag plugs where future corals can rest.
Each plug is shaped like a one-legged table. The leg can fit perfectly into an egg-crate. It can be placed inside a small hole in your rock. Aquarists even drill half-inch holes in their live rocks to accommodate the plug for future frag mounting purposes. The top of the plug measures an inch in diameter and has a layer of reef sand to assist the corals and algae in adhering to it. This plug is said to be unique because of its high-quality material, the consistency of which is not matched by other reef plugs in the market. This allows you to maintain the color and texture, which match your corals
so that its looks so natural that a viewer would not be able to distinguish the plugs from the live rocks.
The Boston Aqua Farms Ceramic Reef Plugs are already cured upon purchase and is ready to use when taken out of its package. Each pack contains twenty counts of reef plugs.
The Reef Plug™ is our design, conceived over 4 years ago and marketed for almost 4 years. None of the copies can touch our quality or consistency.
Boston Aqua Farms coral Reef Plugs™ are specially designed to take advantage of all the best qualities of other plugs and coral frag mounting solutions to date.
The plug resembles a small one legged table. The peg in the bottom is designed to fit nicely into eggcrate, it will also fit nicely into a small crevice or hole in your live rock. (Some drill 3/8" - 1/2" holes throughout their new live rock, to provide future resting places for our frag plugs.)
The top is about 1" in diameter and sports a layer of bright reef sand that helps corals and coralline algae to adhere more quickly, it also looks more natural then aragocrete.
Reef Plugs ™ are designed primarily to support Acropora, Montipora Digitata and other thin branchy species of coral.
