Comments: I got this RO unit to compair against my others. I set it up and had some leaks but nothing Teflon tape won't fix. The mount is flimsy so mount it against a wall and plan to buy extra hoses but for the price it filtered great and with a booster I was getting 55 gal a day Wich is perfect for my 150 gallon tank.

"CP 35 R/O Filter"

Comments: This unit works well. Once set up and leaks stopped with some teflon tape It filtered the water nicely. Setup was questionable due to the lack of any directions. The inline TDS tester was very comforting. Being able to get reading on incoming and outgoing water quality was well worth the extra expense. I would recommend this unit.

"No info"

Comments: The unit arrived quickly. It works great now (about 40 gpd) but when I got it there were no instructions and the tubing had been put on wrong from the mfg. I did a TON of research on captive purity but they do not have ANY tubing diagrams. Like I said I am happy with the unit and my fish love it. Just be aware you better know what to do before you get it!

"No manual?"

Comments: The unit is fine, seems to be working fine as well. The only issue with this purchase is that there is NO manual of any kind with the product. When I opened the box the only thing in it was the RO unit... it would be nice if there was a manual that listed part numbers to make ordering a replacement membrane, carbon block or prefilter possible without having to "guess".

"Works Great..."

Comments: I just started making my first batch of water for my new tank. I assembled this unit per instructions, its pretty simple. However I had a leak that required a wrap of teflon to seal. A simple fix but keep it in mind.

Others have said the lines attached in the unit are too short, I tend to agree. It's fair to say a trip to a hardware store should be planned to do a "hard install" as the lines are really there just to show you which outlet does what. Blue for good water, black for discharge, white to water source.

All in all my 75gpd unit works very well and I have no real complaints.

"It works"

Comments: This is my first RO system I have purchased for an aquarium. It set up easy enough. I got the 75GPD model, and I cannot figure out if there is a difference between it and the lower GPD model. It definitely does not get 75GPD, its about 1-2g an hour, which serves my purposes. It seems to work right, so I assume the water is nice and clean.

There are some bends in one of the tubes in the line, but it does not seem to affect performance. Overall I would say its a fine value, but if you are doing more than 1 60g tank, I would recommend you get something better.

Comments: I would definitely recommend to by this from here. It is a well built product and it does a great job. Nitrates, nitrites, ammonium all have been reduced since I have used this product.

"Good product, Good price"

Comments: What's to say it cleans the water beautifully, my test kit showed no nitrates, no nitrites no ammonia. If you have low or just average water pressure, don't expect to get a true 75gpd out of it though. The only complaint is the tubing it comes with could be longer a good bit longer, each piece is less than 3feet or so, buy some extra tubing while you're at it.

Comments: The plastic hoses are too short and are very cheap. They have already split and leak only after use for 3 months.

Comments: Good so far. The factory plumbing only had 1 leak that I quickly fixed. So far so good.
