Great for Cats! Product Review by WENDY MARCUCCI (Posted on 7/23/12)

Comments: I use this to seperate my cat's food from our hungry dogs--it works great! Its the perfect height and size, and its very easy to put up. The white bars also make it look more high-end and not baby-gate-ish. I highly recommend this product!

Mixed Review Product Review by ABBI (Posted on 6/11/10)

Comments: I purchased 4 gates at once feeling confident that this would solve my problem of keeping my 2 small dogs in certain areas of the house without making it difficult for my family to maneuver over. After receiving them and installing the first one which was very simple, I could quickly and easily see there was a major problem with the design of the gate, which is that the openings on the sides are too large. The gate was designed for very small dogs with the bars being very close together, but on the ends the gap is 2 3/4 inches, and that's with the bracket completely tightened. If the bracket is extended the gap would obviously be much larger. 2 3/4 inches doesn't sound like much space but for anyone who has a tiny dog they know it doesn't take much for them to squeeze through small spaces. My 6 1/2 lb. Maltese couldn't get passed the gate, but my 3 1/2 lb. Maltese/Yorkie mix could easily fit right through. I called the company and they seemed shocked. So I emailed them photos with a tape measure showing the size of the gap and multiple photos of my dog passing right through the gate on the sides. I never received a return phone call or a response to my email. I was very disappointed at their reaction of just pretending like the problem didn't exist. So as a result I decided to keep the gates because I still do love the fact of easily being able to step right over them and we love the little doors for the dogs to pass through when we need them to. I had to end up rigging the gates on the ends by tightly wrapping white ribben (like you use on presents) vertically, which if done neatly actually looks just like another bar. It took up just enough space to not allow her to squeeze through. So if you don't mind rigging your gate they do serve the intended purpose very well.
