Comments: the good feature of this collars when a dog is tied to the collar it becomes tight on his neck while when he is running it is expanded.

Comments: My Chesapeake Bay Retriever at 13 goes everywhere with me, and still at times needs a reminder not to pull on the leash. I love these slip collars because they work like a very mild choke collar. I have always felt metal collars would be uncomfortable both in extreme cold and heat.

Comments: I have used these for my basset hounds for years. Have fostered more than a dozen hounds for a rescue organization, and these collars work well. Bassets have a lot of flesh around their necks and this collar style works well for that. Bassets also "pull" on the leash a lot if not well trained and this design prevents injury.

Comments: I had always in the past used a choker collar, but they really did just that. This collar I believe is a little gentler on the dogs throat. Plus it is not metal, which I like. It's a good collar and good value.

Comments: This is the only collar I will use on my Miniature Pinchers! I'm with IMPS (internet min pin rescue) and I need to make sure my dogs do not get loose, especially while transporting to their new homes. I'm very happy with the quality and the price beats the chain stores. When adjusted correctly, it's impossible for the dog to slip out of the collar and there's no danger of him/her being choked. Excellent collar!
