Comments: I have had an 8 gallon nano tank from innovative marine on my desk for about 3 months. While I love this tank I was having some heat issues in my office due to the number of computers in the room. The room temperature would sometimes reach 85 degrees, when this happened the tank would also hit 85 degrees and my corals were quite upset by this. I added this chiller to the bank of the tank, it rests quite nicely on the rim of the tank. In about 3 minutes the temperature went from 81 degrees to 77.5. The temperature has stayed between 77 and 78 ever since.

Comments: The foolproof male and female connections were appreciated. Very simple to install.

<br />It needs a nob or dial for adjustment instead of the tiny, recessed control screw - so we don't have to go looking for our little screwdrivers or try to peer into the little hole to see what we're doing.

Comments: Simple install, just needs a temp setting as opposed to he dial. works great more capacity, connecting more than one Iceprob would be an added bonus if availiable(it isn't)

Comments: Had unit for 4 weeks, then controller stopped working (fan still worked on iceprobe but couldnt adjust speed/ no green light working on unit).Multiple e-mails to Nova Tec with no response. No phone number or other contact info on website.Finally called here and they replacesd unit no questions. These guys rock.Nova Tec has NO customer support.Waiting for new controller...

Comments: The controller works fine. It is a little hard to calibrate to the desired temperature.

Comments: Works like it's supposed to. You just need to play around with setting to the correct temp. Only set back is no number to see what your setting is when adjusting the temp

Comments: This worked great! Although I only used it in a 2 gallon tank, it works well and for the price, and costs far less than a compressor unit. I would recommend this to anyone!

Comments: Just got this to hook up to my Iceprobe HOB and it works pretty solid. Pretty easy to setup, I just got my tank at the temp I wanted it at and turned the knob/screw until the chiller just barely clicked on, then turned it back slightly until it turned off.

Comments: This temperature controller works best for smaller aquariums.It turns the iceprobe off at the exact temperature you determine.The whole concept of thermal cooling without refrigerant is amazing.
