Coralife Aqualight 10K T5 Fluorescent Light Bulb (24 Inch, 14 Watt Lamp) Information

Part #: 58560

Does your aquarium look drab? Have you tried changing the lights, only to find that they mess with the temperature? You can fret no longer because Coralife Aquatic 10K T5 Fluorescent Light Bulb from Pet Store can give everything you need (and not those that you do not). This fluorescent light is specially designed to illuminate aquariums with tropical fish without bumping up the temperature. It has the ability to mimic the rays of the sun in the tropics during noon.

That is quite a high output of lumen. Aquatic plants will greatly benefit from this because they count on sunlight a lot for their growth. The rays of Coralife Aquatic 10k T5 Fluorescent Light Bulb are bluish-white and sparkly due to the phosphors it contains that enhance color. With this, your tropical fish will look even more brilliant.

The natural-looking light will not startle the fish and keep your aquarium looking like a real piece of the ocean. And because this fluorescent light does not tamper with the heating of your aquarium, your fish will be comfortable all the time. Each light bulb measures 23.5 inches in length. Start enjoying a crystalline aquarium by installing a Coralife Aquatic 10k T5 Fluorescent Light Bulb today!

The Coralife 10,000 Kelvin lamp is a purified super-daylight lamp that simulates the high-intensity lumen output of the midday tropical sun. It contains rare-earth, color-enhancing phosphors to emit sparkling, blue-white light rays.

Excellent!

Comments: Shipping was very fast. My bulbs arrived in a huge, but well packed box. Both bulbs were undamaged and work fine. The price was also a great deal. I will be ordering from this site again. Thank you!

Excellent!

Comments: This new lamp is great. I couldn't find any around here, so used some higher wattage ones which were too hot and created a lot of algae growth. The new lamps make the water look more brilliant without the extra heat added. I think all my fish like them too!

Excellent!

Comments: In my live planted 25 gal. tall tank I found that this higher K temp. lamp is bright enough that I only need one of the two bulbs ordered to give good mid day effect lighting to the bottom. Plenty enough to make the fishes colors (a f/w amazon biome setup) show up nicely and give what looks to be plenty of lumens for plant growth yet w/o that bright glare (the kind that makes the shyer species hide in the shadows) which both bulbs would give in my Coralife twin tube 24" 14watt F/W model strip light.
Being that this strip light sets on top of a clear glass paned cover I took out the hard/thin flexible clear plastic splash guard strip between the tubes and the glass cover which keeps the tube cooler and I hope extends it's operational life. This allows longer light up times during the day and evening w/o promoting excess algae growth and, since it's a single tube, not heating the tank above what it's heater is set for. A win/win in performance and a spare bulb for when the first one starts to dim/flicker. I've been keeping f/w tropical tanks since 1959 when I was 11, yeah -you do the arithmetic.
