Comments: Although the plastic is brittle (making it weak) this impeller is of decent quality, equal to what originally came with the pump. It is exactly what I expected.

Comments: I have had a mag drive 7 for eight years. The original empeller was a quieter and seemed to vibrate less. Finally bought a REO 2500, it's a lot quieter.

Comments: Ordered a replacement impeller. The Shafts on the Mag 12 will break if you pry the cover off unevenly! This works perfect with my pump.

Comments: It was cheaper buying the impeller than the whole pump. Bought the pump used with the protein skimmer and works great. It's quiet as quiet can be for this type of pump so I would definitely recommend it.

Comments: There are two types of mag-drive 18 drives, 18A and 18B that take different impellers. This is an 18B impeller. I needed 18A, so I had to return mine. If you need 18B, this will work for you.

Comments: The impeller axel on Danner pumps is a weak link. But buying unit makes the pump work just like it did when new, I could not find my reciept for the pump and Danner would not honor the warranty, so for a few bucks this is the way to go.

Comments: What can I say, the old impeller needed replacing and this item is the replacement. Performs flawlessly and lasts a very long time considering it receives continuous use.

Comments: funny how replacing the old impeller makes my pump feel brand new. My GPH had dropped considerably, by almost half I would expect, but now she's flowing like old faithful.

Comments: My Mag 7 pump had been running 24/7 for almost 2 years in salt water. It recently began making noise and its output had become reduced. I had my doubts that all the wear was confined to the impeller, but I purchased the new impeller (which includes a new shaft, bushings, and bearings. It fit perfectly into my old housing, and the original output has now been restored. A good product!

Comments: Overall a great impeller design. Never have real problems unless I forget to clean them over 6 months (my fault). The only reason I got a new one was because the calcium build up made it impossible to remove the ceramic shaft and it actually broke due to my negligence.
