Comments: SO MUCH BETTER THAN FOAM PRE-FILTER. I COVER IT WITH MESH TO CATCH SMALLER DEBRIS. WORKS GREAT. WISH IT CAME IN SMALLER SIZE FOR MY SMALLER UV LIGHT PUMP. OVERALL I LOVE IT.

Comments: This pre-filter does an EXCELLENT job of keeping debris from the pond from cycling through the pump. I've used this pump with this filter for years and have NEVER had a problem.

Comments: The Pre-Filter for my Danner Mag 12 pump works great. I was using the foam pre-filter and had to clean it at least daily. I installed this Pre-Filter on Tuesday and on Saturday it is still running like Niagara Falls.

Comments: I like the ease of use of this pre-filter because it dosen't clog wil algae like the foam pre-filter. I just have to clean the main filter more often :( But I'm hoping that as the weather cools and the algae clears that it will work perfect for my needs!

Comments: This performs as advertised. It doesn't clog like the foam pre-filter that came with my magdrive 1200. It is a little flimsy though and I wish it was made of sturdier plastic. It would have been helpful to include the size dimentions on the description as well. Overall though it is worth the purchase.

Comments: I have always used a soft prefilter on my goldfish pond and this is so much better. It doesn't collapse when it gets dirty and it cleans the water better. I highly recommend it!

Comments: After having to change the foam pre filter that comes with the Pondmaster almost daily I went looking for an alternative. These work great and should be what comes with the pump. I bought two One for my 700 GPH and one for a friends pump. I will be buying one for my small 300 GPH pump in the near future. Thanks for being so fast to ship out also!

Comments: This pre-filter for my 1800 GPH pump is the best I have found. The foam pre-filter clogs with fine particulates to quickly and there is another one on the market that lets too many things through that clog the pondmaster pump. This one has worked the best for me but still will need to be cleaned from time to time depending on the condition of your pond. I wish pondmaster included this filter with the pump instead of the foam filter.
