Whatever your reasons may be, draining is a part of the processes you need to do when managing an aquarium.
However, if you are draining your
aquarium because of reason number 5 (reverse osmosis or RO filtration), you can connect the waste pipeline of your RO filter directly to the drain pipeline. If this is what you want to do for your tank, you`ll need a Drain Saddle Adapter. This adapter lets the running waste pipeline of the RO filter to connect - and thus, directly drain - to the drain pipelines. This eliminates the chances of spillage and other unwanted and unexpected messes.
