"F.W. Plants seem to like it."
- Product Review by William Browning
(Posted on 7/13/12)

Comments: I have an interesting lighting setup in my 5 foot long 100g show tank. I'm running two 48" 8k Stunner LEDs and two 12" magenta Stunners, that seems to work great for my fish, my power bill and my fresh water plants. 60 watts of LED lighting and it's brighter than my T5 lit 50g. I would recommend these lights for tanks under 24" deep for sure.

"Great Fill-In Solution"
- Product Review by Arnold Mixon
(Posted on 6/25/12)
-
Comments: I am the owner of a 38" PFO Solaris LED Fixture - one of the first to hit the market in 2006. For those not familiar with the design, one draw back is all the electronics are situated in the center of the fixture (with the LEDs placed on both left and right side). The result is a "dark spot" directly in the center of the tank. Glad I found these Stunner LED Strips - they are PERFECT for filling in my troubled spot (I bought three of them). Now I hope to have better growth of corrals in the center of my tank. Highly recommend for this purpose.

"Ecoxotic 12.5in Stunner 6watt"
- Product Review by James Lee
(Posted on 6/9/12)

Comments: The magenta 12.5 inch Stunner 6 watt LED Strip is a great quality, low to no heat light source great for effects in this particular color. It is well constructed of metal not plastic it can be installed with the provided adhesive back foam tabs or it has mounting screws available for a more secure mounting. You can also install a reflector which just snaps on Viola and its done, sold here for just $6.95 and it focuses the light or intensifies it. I also have the Stunner 12.5 inch 6Watt 445nm Royal Blue which I use for the reefs night lite it works very well and the fish and corals are very happy no more pitch black reef tank . This can have multiple units daisy chained with the multi-plug adapter also sold for just $14.95 my price at time of purchase. So if you need great lighting effects with little to no heat and you want to lower your electricity bill while your at it this should be your choice. Available in multiple colors and combination configurations all depending on your needs.Reefcrazy12

Comments: I am in the process of replacing my PC's with LEDs and bought one 12inch stunner strip as a test. The lights are bright and I like the ability to slowly upgrade over time with the ability to add additional strips to a single power source.

Comments: I have order several Led Stunners from Ecoxotic as a quick fix to my light problem. I wasn't expecting anything special due to the prices. I was completely amaze on the shimmering affects that I got of them. I would highly recommend them to my friends. The installation was dummy proof even for a beginner like myself.

"Stun Me"
- Product Review by David Gallagher
(Posted on 9/6/11)
-
Comments: I have 8 stunner strips over my 24 gallon reef tank. I have 2 blues, 2 white and blues, 2 magenta and blues and 2 whites. Its plenty of light to grow most coral and the blues look amazing at night. My only problem with the strips is having to buy the reflector strips seperately. The quality of the reflectors isn't worth the $7 asking price and I don't think it made a huge difference in light output. For the price of the strips, they should already come with reflectors.

"Don't Be Fooled"
- Product Review by Ronald C Hougland
(Posted on 8/17/11)
-
Comments: Don't be fooled by the low visible light output of these 403nm LED's! I would rate this 5 of 5 on being, purely, supplemental light. I have a 100% LED Red Sea Max 130D and I was lacking the UV spectrum. Perfect upgrade for my application!! I used this light as the only light on in the tank at night and saying it makes the corals pop is a huge understatement! Great Product for the money and in general.

"Excellent Supplement Lighting"
- Product Review by Katie Hightower
(Posted on 8/3/11)
-
Comments: I have two Nano cubes: 28 gal & 10 gal. The 10 gal has CFL and the 28 gal has HQI. Both looked good with just the stock lighting. But by adding one stunner to the 10 gal and two to the 28 gal, the display of the tanks really transformed. The corals also gained better color. (I turned off the stunners to make sure that the "gained colors" are not just the lighting from the stunners.) I highly recommend this product. Note: only as supplemental lighting. Stunner strips themselves do not have enough par to support corals.

Comments: Used two of these to supplement some actinic lighting on my 28g Nanocube HQI. Looks amazing, especially when run without the Halide at dawn or dusk...Only gripe...they're too long to fit in the stock Halide enclosure of the Nanocube.

"453nm - Fantastic blue color."
- Product Review by Sarah Wenrich
(Posted on 4/9/11)

Comments: These add just the right amount of blue that I was looking for. I just received two of these from the website. Ordered with free shipping on 4-2-11 and everything arrived on 4-8-11. I also purchased the reflectors and one wall transformer. FYI, The reflectors nearly doubled the light output!Yes, I can see the added color from these when using with my 250w metal halides. Four units for this setup (with reflectors) would be best in my opinion. These are just plug and play. It includes a cap for the connector if you are not connecting to another strip. This will prevent water, salt, etc. from getting into the plug. The three ways to attach this to you fixture or what have you is great. The tabs to keep cord clutter neat and organized is also a great.LED lighting is the way to go. I am now going to upgrade my metal halide and go with all LED's. Lower cost to run, less heat, adjustable lighting to my color preference, the list goes on.Thank you!

"led for refugium"
- Product Review by Shawn Myers
(Posted on 3/16/11)
-
Comments: I bought these to put over a refugium. They don't put out a lot of par but the caulerpa seems to like the light and I'm saving a bundle on electricity. If you are gonna use these for anything other than appearance, do yourself a favor and buy the reflectors, they double the light output.

Comments: This is my first LED purchase and these stunner strips are phenomenal. So much color in such a small package. I was very surprised at the quality of the product. It feels so solid and well made. It has several different mounting options, you're sure to have exactly what you need.

"Great add on feature"
- Product Review by Tim Mendenhall
(Posted on 2/7/11)
-
Comments: This is a great add on feature to the Ecoxotic Panorama Lights for dawn to dusk effect, would not necessarily use for for moonlight effect, too bright. I have the 3 add ons for the 11.5 Ecoxotic Panorama LED Fixture. I have the 435 Actinic Blue, but I heard they are coming up with some new colors in the next couple of months. They should just throw the $6.95 Reflectors in with the $50 stunner strips for the better refector, so there is not so many add ons.

"Just Awesome!"
- Product Review by Adam Lazorchak
(Posted on 2/1/11)
-
Comments: Picked up 1 of the 453nm LED strips for my 20g long tank. The LEDs are just incredible. When the main lights are out, all my LPS and green star polyps light up! I mounted the strip about 4 inches above the water and it does a good job illuminating the entire tank. This is a great moonlight, however when the main lights on their effect is not as notable.

Comments: I have a Biocube 29 HQI, this particular biocube does not come with any blue lights of any kind, and finding after market blue or led lights to work with my configuration is very difficult. I set the two stunners that i ordered on the glass that covers the tank and wow!!! What a change with these lights.... I AM VERY IMPRESSED.

"WOW! This thing is awesome"
- Product Review by Kim Joseph Rettenmaier
(Posted on 10/18/10)
-
Comments: Bought a single 453 nm blue strip to supplement my 24 gallon aquapod with a 70 watt sun pod and all I can say is WOW! Even with the halide on the stunner strip's effects can clearly be seen. With the halide off its even more amazing, the colors of my corals truly POP and now I can have a dusk dawn effect. Getting the strip to attach to the sun pod was a little tricky but it can be done with minor drilling. I am definitely going to pick up another one soon to add more of a blue tint to my tank. Little pricy but I think its worth it.

"EcoXotix Stunner LED Strips"
- Product Review by Craig Novak
(Posted on 7/28/10)
-
Comments: I purchased two stunner strips, one 8oook and one 432nm
<br />blue light as well as a reflector and transformer. I wanted to add an additional phase in the lighting of my RSM 130D. The stunner strips were very easy to install and connect to the transformer as well as to each other and the electrical cords lengths worked fine. By placing them on a digital timer I have added an additional dawn/dusk phase to my tank.

"Not like I pictured."

Comments: I wanted to add shimmer to my 75 gallon reef with HO T5 lighting. It didn't add anything noticable with all 6 T5's on. I tried using 3 strips and was not satisfied so I returned them. Under lower light conditions they would probably work as advertised.
