"Ecoxotic 48 Inch Stunner 24W L"
- Product Review by John Moffett

Comments: I lost a T5 ballast and needed to retro the T5 space in a 48 inch fixture with LED. I decided to try a stunner strip and it was a great choice! Easily mounted with the supplied tape to the T5 reflector....plug~n~play!!!! Perfect to use alone for ramp and to supplement MH. One driver will power two 48" stunner strips so I'm going to add another soon. Adds super fluorescence and makes colors really pop. I don't know if these LED strips will grow coral by themselves but they are vastly superior to T5/PC/VHO for supplemental lighting.

"Not Bad"
- Product Review by Robert Buck

Comments: Not exactly the Royal Blue they claim, more along the line of a magenta or purple. Not as deep of light penetration as they claim. Absolutely no shimmer like they claim either. We will see how the corals respond. It's ok, but not thrilled with this item. I'm almost regretting selling my halide.

"Stunner Strips"
- Product Review by Matt Bird
(Posted on 4/8/12)

Comments: The Ecoxotic Stunner series is a real technological break through! We've all seen or used LED's by this point, but the strips are amazing for a few reasons in particular. First, their size is incredibly stealth. Having used other brands on our accounts, the Stunners are very nearly invisible in comparison. Secondly, the options for mounting/ installing them will work for whatever application you may have. The choices of light color is great, as well. They can grow anything from fresh water planted tanks, fish only tanks and work beautifully on marine applications with coral, polyps and beneficial red/ purple algae! I highly recommend trying this series. My last point is the affordability! Certainly will get your money's worth.

Comments: I have to say I loved the Par bulbs but these Stunner strips were a real let down. Not even close to the Specs on line or their videos. Sorry guys not as advertised.

Comments: I purchases two of these strips to enhance the color in my tank. Currently, I have MH HQI and T5 Actinic these strips added a nice amount of blue to help make the colors pop out. I am very satisfied with the results. The lights are very bright and easy to mount with the 3M double sided tape provided.

"Stunning"

Comments: Very easy to install on an existing T5HO; used the double sided adhesive tape. The additional light output was exactly what I was anticipating. Now I have separate lighting controls and programmed T5s + LEDs. After a week the tank seems perfect.

For me it was a very economical way to have LEDs and not spend $2,000+ for my 60" 180 gallon tank.

"Eco Stunner"

Comments: I have three 48 inch stunner strips, 1 White strip, 2 White/Blue strips on a 90 gall tall (Ikola tropheus and Cypriochromis). The White strip produces plenty of light by itself. The White/Blue strips cast too blue of a tint on the tank making it difficult to discern natural or true colors. Currently, I use one White and one White/Blue that seems to work for me and produces PLENTY of light. As far as intensity goes, no problem, one direct look at the lights will let you know they are sufficient.

"Lightweight and beautiful"

Comments: The stunner is a great accent light, I bought the 4 ft blue/ magenta stunner to complement my 2 (10k kessils) and it fills the rest of the tank with a nice blue and pink warm sunset-like tone. The strip is so light and thin and not too warm. I want to add more bright bluish/white light between the 2 Kessils but suspect the stunner may not be strong enough and so will probably try the Panoramas.

"Ecoxotic 48 Inch Stunner 24W L"
- Product Review by Larry Hansen

Comments: The lights are easy to hook up but they are not that bright. If you want your tank bright you should get the all white lights. To add some color i would go two all white lights and one white blue. If i could do it all over again. It is too late for me. But for you it will be better that way. Good luck. Larry.

Comments: well i finally got to order one of these, i purchased a 48" 12k/453 and im using this on my 55gallon 4'long mbuna tank and i have to say iam impressed with the colors this light produces.it lights up the tank with mid lighting so im not using this as my day light.it was easy to set up, they provide 3M double sided tape or mounting screws, i just mounted it to the bottom of my t5 fixture using the tape.as for the colors it really brings out coloration in my fish, the yellows are intense, it brings out the blues and whites and reds. the shimmer effect is awesome, id recommend this to anyone that likes to show off their tank or just to enjoy themselves! great buy!
