"Too much blue and weak"
- Product Review by Jeanne Morris
(Posted on 3/15/12)

Comments: I am returning this light. The lamp power is not as strong as the description would lead you to think, and the blue tint from the blue LEDs casts too much tint for my liking. I have on order a JBL LED light, which is far more expensive but might do what I'm hoping to achieve with lighting.

"Great little light"
- Product Review by John Beck
(Posted on 2/29/12)

Comments: These lights are great...powerful enough to light up my 90 gal tank. Actually I bought two white/blue and one blue (blue for midnite look). Looks great and no heat...be sure not to place them over open water (especially SW tanks). Good investment.

Comments: Well built. I use two in a rsm 250 and adds some shimmer and color even with the t5 lights on. Also is a very intense moon light. One has a reflector and it's much brighter than the one without a reflector.

"Great lights!"
- Product Review by William Damian
(Posted on 5/21/11)

Comments: I now have ten of the modules and was happy to see the all white light option be available. These lights are easy to install and work great in a hood. These lights work well on my 90 gallon tall tank and provide very bright and all my corals are happy. These lights produce very little heat and have a nice shimmer. I look forward to getting the last two to finish up the set-up.

Comments: I had an Ice Cap Ballast blow out that drove T5 bulbs. I replaced 3 80 watt bulbs with 2 modules and I am impressed. Everything in the tank seems to be thriving. I can't wait to see my electric bill go down.

"Nice LED retro"
- Product Review by Ray Sundstrom
(Posted on 3/10/11)

Comments: A very nice 'plug and play' module with excellent build quality. Needs to be mounted in a bracket or hood. (The curved lens will not rest squarely on a glass top.) Two of these mounted about 2" above the water surface of a 30 gal. 18" deep nano-reef gives excellent coverage. For many of the soft corals the lights are actually TOO bright! Rather than mount them higher or re-arrange the aquascaping, I replaced the factory transformers with a Mean Well ELN-60-48D driver with the modules wired in series, and can now dim the lights. (Modifying the units voids the factory warrantee.) I run the units at 690 mA maximum, and dim them to 80% maximum output (550 mA) - perfect!

"Great"

Comments: Thisis the first time I have written a review ever. That being said to let you know how thoroughly pleased I am with these lights they replaced a 36 watt coralife cfl fixture 1-18watt flo t-8 over a16wx16lx20h mini reef wannabe. The change visually was stunning shimmer city had to redirect water to lessen shimmer as too not distract from gsp colony and hydnophora branch and shroooms. The inverts have swollen in size mesureably fish are more crisp too.As close to a hqi setup as possible ,I have 2 daylight units but will be getting a 3rd in one of the blue or uv colors.Love this so far longevity of the unit is my only concern.

Comments: I swapped out the PC lights in my JBJ 28 gallon to 2 Panorama Led modulesand 2 stunner strips. Now i have great growth and color for my corals. I keep a RBTA, SPS, LPS and soft corals under it and they all grow crazy. Great lights for the money. I got rid of the annoying fan noise and keep my temp stable.

"Bang for it's buck!"

Comments: For it's value, it's definitely worth it. I bought it after seeing results from my LFS, which uses two of Pano-LED modules on their biocube. Most LED's out there run above $200. This one runs at just $200 flat if you need two of them! My zoos were fading under 2 24W PC's and now are quickly gaining their colors again. Definitely affordable lighting solution and good starter to dip your feet in if you're interested in LED lighting.

"small-low-energy-light"
- Product Review by Gary Gover
(Posted on 12/2/10)

Comments: Small well-built piece of equipment that adds a unique blue-hue to my 150 gallon aquarium. It's a bit too bright to use as a moon light (keeps the fish up) but shines throughout the day prior to and during my main lamps coming on. My tank size is 24"/48"/30" (deep/wide/tall).

"Great product"
- Product Review by Jason Selinger
(Posted on 8/7/10)

Comments: The 453nm module is very bright and adds terrific shimmer to the aquarium. The light is slightly on the purple side but it still looks great. The only negative is the amount of heat coming out of the heat sink. It wasn't designed to be mounted to the bottom of another light fixture, but I did it anyway and now they both heat up very quickly without a fan running.

There are no optics so the light spreads all over the tank and the room which is pretty cool. Overall, a terrific product that would benefit from optics and additional cooling.

"Great LED Light Product"
- Product Review by David Knuth
(Posted on 7/8/10)

Comments: I have a 90 gallon, Reef and fish tank and I purchased two of the blue modules and six of the blue/white modules. They were very easy to mount to the top of the canopy, with each strip requiring two screws only. They replaced a typical 46" four tube t5 florescent fixture which generated a considerable amount of heat. The light output is amazing compared to the florescent fixture. Although not as intense, the color quality is fantastic. It makes the colors on the fish stand out much better. There is no heat to speak of and I was able to do away with the cooling fans so the tank is much cooler.(My tank temp drop 5 degrees)Very nice, well made product.

"Too Purple"
- Product Review by Kenneth Bass
(Posted on 6/26/10)

Comments: Purchased this light to add pop to my mixed reef tank. The light is well made but unfortunately it is not the color I thought I was going to get. It is very purple and does not highlight the corals the way a true actinic light will. Sending back and purchasing a retro T5 for the tank. If your looking for a light to accent your tank at night this would do the trick but not as a actinic highlight.

"Best LED's for the money"
- Product Review by Gerard Doorty
(Posted on 6/7/10)

Comments: Just bought my third module for my nano set-up. These lights work just as described and the beauty is that you can just keep adding modules in order to lower your start-up lighting expense. I keep SPS to shrooms and all do well under these lights - it might even be too much light for the shrooms and ricordia. The benefits (low heat, no spectrum shift, long bulb life, etc) far outweigh the alternatives. As for my shopping experience here...I am perfectly satisfied with the prompt shipping, great pricing and large selection and will return for more items as needed. Thanks!

Comments: I added this over my 30 gallon cube tank for a little additional blue lighting. I was amazed at just how bright the light is and it really helped make the colors in the tank "pop" out. I am considering adding two of the white/blue modules to replace my T5 bulbs.

"Great product."
- Product Review by Scott Oldham
(Posted on 5/20/10)

Comments: I've had this product (453nm) installed for about a week as supplemental light to a 70w MH over a 12gal Nanocube. It's a very nice unit that feels very well made and does exactly what it claims it will do. The face of it stays cool, but the heat sink gets quite warm- so keep in mind that you may still want to provide venting for the back.

I would rate this a 5 if there were some optional, even at an extra cost, brackets for open top tanks. Don't let that keep you away if your interested though.

The bottom line is that I think the color quality of the blue from LED's is much better and more consistent and less 'neon'-like than flourescents and I think I'll be buying more of these for my tanks.

"Fantastic Actinic!"
- Product Review by Laurie York
(Posted on 5/20/10)
-
Comments: When my T6 actinic recently burned out I decided to order an Ecoxotic Blue Actinic Panorama for my 65 gal. reef tank. The amount of light that this Panorama produces is AMAZING! The blue LED Panorama is more saturated in color than my former actinic and my coral collection GLOWS like never before!

I highly recommend this extremely easy to use product. My only wish is that there were two optional hangers on each end of the light as well (as the screw-in mount) so that the light could more easily be suspended above the tank with coated wire or cable.

Comments: I bought these to add to the 3 250w MH's I have over my 180g, just as actinic supplements. I can't wait to add more...The 2 initially purchased are enough for actinic, I just want to add more pop! Outstanding lights, color is amazing and the install is as easy as 2 screws per module.

"Very nice LED compliment"
- Product Review by Scott Anderson
(Posted on 4/9/10)

Comments: I have a 500 gallon stocked with SPS and LPS. It's 4.75 feet deep and I only use LEDs to illuminate it. The main lighting is provided by 8 AquaIllumination LED modules and the supplemental lighting via 16 blue/white Panorama modules. Accent lighting is provided by 16 UV Stunner strips. I'm quite a bit poorer but couldn't be happier with the color and shimmer effect as well as the growth of the corals. The offset is that the electric bill looks much better these days!

Note that if you want to grow SPS (acros) with LEDs down to 30 inches of depth, you must add AI modules instead of these.

"Colors are so much brighter!"
- Product Review by Charles Goodman
(Posted on 3/29/10)

Comments: I have a 180 gallon reef tank with 3x400 HM lights.
I put two of these in between the MH's.
The thing you notice right away is how much more the color of all the corals shows up. The blue takes away the glare of the white and really makes the tank look great.
Setting them up is as easy as can be. Just mount them and plug them in!
I would suggeest these to anybody who has MH and was thinking about adding actinics to get more color. This is a better way to go!
