"powerfull light"

Comments: The light is very strong! for my 5' tall tank, it gets to the bottom. the dim control works great with my reefAquarium Elite V2, the only issue is for the plastic cover bolts: in two light (I got 6) one bolt was complete loose, the aluminum head diffuser in the back has the bolt hole wide opend so the bolt can't get tighted.

For a $358.00 light the quality of the structure is very poor. I will suggest a better design.
Now I will have problems trying to avoid humidity inside my lights

Comments: Replaced a 175W metal halide on my 25 gallon cube tank. Very bright and even the stony corals seem to doing better. I would prefer a little more blue light so I'm thinking of adding one of Ecoxotic's blue strips. Not only am I saving money on not having to buy a bulb every 10 months and with 175W running 8-10 hours a day but I no longer have to run the fan and I don't have to top off nearly as much. Great product and look forward to getting the blue strip.

Comments: Running 3 of these with 4 actinic strips on my 220 reef tank. so far corals are responding well. I installed drop in thru canopy, tops get warm/hotter than I expected, still going to install a fan in canopy but color looks great.
Overall very satisfied

Comments: Just received and set up so initial satisfaction is high. Product arrived in short time after I ordered and as advertised retrofit was very easy to install. Really like what it does to the tank and all the corals. It seems like a real spot lighted centerpiece. Very nice. If this product last as long as it says I'll add a sixth star to the reveiw.

Comments: Love these lights!!!!! no heat on your tank at all and very bright. Corals are doing much better than before. If you have a 90 gals you will need two of these lights to fully cover the whole tank.

"Panaramic Retrofits"

Comments: Have had 2 of these up and running on my 110 gallon reef along with a couple of stunner strips for a few days now. Was really kind of worried about how my corals might react, I have a mixed reef and a couple of anemones. Almost from the moment I put these fixtures in my canopy all my corals have really opened up and looked absolutely gorgeous, as well as my anemones. The stunner strips really helped with the colors in my tank also, I have them come on an hour before the main lights and stay on an hour after they go off at night, the colors are amazing. Also had been having a slight problem with cyano before installing them(had VHO's previously) and now 2 days later it has also disappeared. The retrofits run very cool, almost zero heat comes from them, and although the initial cost is a little pricey, they seem to be well worth it.

"LED V's Lums V's $$$"

Comments: Have many different LED set-ups and dollar for the light this is a nice fixture. The ups are the modular, light level produced and spectrum produced. The downs are no controls on the unit, plug in its on, unplug its off, so a controller would be nice (I use Digital Aquatics) and its only set for daylight, dusk/dawn and moon will need additional hardware. The optimal setup would be placed in a hood from above (cut a whole and drop in) but I like a glass top with no canopy so I hang from above the issue with that is glare, and there's quite a bit.

"Simple and nice"

Comments: I installed four Panorama Retrofit 2 units last night on my 8' tank. They are mounted in the top of the 12" canopy and they do a great job of lighting everything. They are much nicer in appearance than the hanging LED's that I replaced. What is really great is that all four of these units use less power than one of the old halides I used to use before switching to LED lighting. These are the simplest install I have had for any lighting since the old days of screw in bulbs for the freshwater tanks. My only complaint is that they are not quite as blue as I would have liked. I knew it when I purchased them, but I wanted to see how they looked before I purchased stunner strips. Very little heat which will be nice in the summer here in TX. And the reduced electric usage will be nice in the long run. Less heat, less time for the chiller to run. Less heat, less evaporation. If they perform half as well in the long run as I have been reading from other hobbyists, I will be more than satisfied. Figure out how much you pay for replacement halide and VHO bulbs and you will quickly justify the cost of these light. Now I need to decide which stunners to get.
