Comments: Hello, just to let you know, I have only been using this proeheim for about a week. It probably isnt fair of me to give a review as of yet. The tank is a 30 gallon acrylic with at least 100 mollies all different ages and some swordtails. They procreate so frequently, that there really is way too many fish to fairly rate this product. I do think it will do better than the last eheim I bought, which I ended up tossing out for this same tank, once I thin out my "herd!!" (I will be doing this in the next two weeks. I plan to give them to a pet store to rehome them and then maybe I can give you a better review if you are still interested. Thanks for the inquiry.

Comments: When I received the product my first thought was, "were's the rest" pretty small bag for such a high price. Otherwise the product is good for my Ehiem filter. The box is much bigger than the amount in it.

Comments: I have used this substrate in my Eheim wet/dry filters for several years and it works great. It's expensive but it does not wear out. I just bought some more to add to my eheim canister filter and my fluval fx5.

Comments: I use the Substrat Pro with the EHFILAV in my Cichlid tank and i have no problems what so ever :)

Comments: There is no other way to say it except this is the most expensive filter media on the market. It is also by far the best and your money is well spent. Substrat-Pro allows incredibly efficient biological filtration and is ideal for people needing a large biological filtration system. If your aquarium is heavily stocked, throw this in a canister filter and you will be amazed how well this breaks down ammonia and nitrate. This will also last you a long, long time...we are at least 3 years into our first Substrat-Pro and there are no signs that are indicating it needs replacement. This is a great investment for fish health!
