Comments: Now I can walk away from my RO and not worry about it. Can't wait until I can install this right in my sump! The tank side bracket is great! Fully adjustable, and it allows one to install the float on just about any container.

Comments: The float valve is made of high quality materials and was very easy to install in my sump, keeps water level in sump at the height you set it to and eliminates water overflow from ro unit to sump when I forgot that I had water on, no more worries, great product, fits in small space and easy to set up.

Comments: I installed this in my Refugium hooked up the line to a container in a cabinet next to the aquarium just gravity feeds from there. It has kept the the water level where I set it at and the salinity stays stable as well. Works Great

Comments: Overall, this is pretty nice, however, the compression fitting is very cheap. I looked at my sump and was very surprised to see it almost filled to the top as the water supply hose had broken free of the float valve! Luckily I caught it in time. Just use a better compression nut and you'll be fine.

Comments: This is something I would recommend. It is simple to use, and it works.

Comments: After using the valve for about 4 months, I found my RO bucket overflowing. The valve was happily bobbing inside. The acrylic L-bracket used to mount the valve came apart because the pieces were not properly welded together. Luckily, the bucket was outside so there was no water damage.

Comments: This brand name is hit or miss. Most of the products that they ship out work fine, but about 1/4th of the products are defective.

<br />I bought this and the acrylic was chipped badly (not in shipping...it was packed at the factory that way).

<br />I also bought a bunch of the Eshopps frag shelves. Roughly 1/4th of them had missing magnets, magnets not housed correctly, chipped acrylic, etc..

Comments: This auto top off valve / float assembly looked pretty good when I unpacked it. Unfortunatly the acrylic plate where the float attaches fell apart after two days of operation. As a result it almost overflowed my sump, I just happened to be doing my daily inspection and caught the water level at the top of the sump and the Eshopps float laying in the bottom. If you desire peace of mind level control I don't think this unit is your candidate.

Comments: Very solid built product. I run a flexible silicon air hose from RO unit with auto shut off valve to this valve attached on the glass divider in my sum. Just leave the RO on, this valve will control the water level in your sum perfectly. The catch is whenever my RO unit turns on, the first 3 cups of filter water has TDS value up to 70. RO unit will turn itself off and on many times a day, so filtered water to the tank will have TDS value around 20-70. Your RO unit may be different, hook up a TDS meter to your RO to monitor TDS value when RO unit starts up.

<br />Because I want a TDS value around 0-5 to my tank, I have to turn the RO on once a day, let first 3 cups of water drains out first before let it run to my tank. I have to turn the RO off later, but if you forget to do it, it will not flood your house. If you can live with TDS value of 20-70, this valve is perfect for your use.

<br />I also use this valve when I top off my 40 gallons bucket for mixing salt water. Easily attached to the side of the bucket. Just let the RO run overnight and you'll have a perfect level bucket of water in the morning.
