How to use feeder shrimp?Feeder shrimp need to be acclimated. Please acclimate them as you would fish you purchase for your aquarium.The feeder shrimp can be added during the day as a direct feed for your fish. The feeding response elicited by theshrimp are incredible. You can add them during the dark cycle which would provide a chance for them to hideand get established in your system. They burrow into the sand and can bioturbate the tank`s substrate. Feedershrimp eat flake food, microalgae, copepods, and other meaty detrital material. These are true saltwater shrimpand will grow in your system if not eaten.
