H2O Life Handy Grab Aquarium Tongs Information

Clean, add or remove things in your aquarium without much difficulty using the H2O Life Handy Grab Aquarium Tongs from Pet Store. It has an overall length of 37 inches and bar length of 25 inches, which make the transport of materials in and out of the aquarium easy. With this equipment, even if your aquarium is very large, you will be able to reach and take those stuffs in there that needs to be fixed. Even better than those mentioned, it has a light weight, so you will not get tired easily if you are going to use it for a long time.

Moreover, the H2O Handy Grab Aquarium Tongs is a very convenient gripping tool too. It is designed in a way that gripping anything with it will not be difficult. Once you held something with this tongs, it will not slip, making it very effective in its function. Aside from that, it can pick up materials that have up to 2 lbs of weight.

Further, this product is made of sturdy material, so it will not break or bend when used often. Lastly, it will not rust immediately even with long exposure to water. Hence, it is a reliable and practical tool to be utilized for your aquarium.

H2O Life Handy Grab Aquarium Tongs Reviews

"Not suitable for saltwater." - Product Review by Daniel Hambali (Posted on 9/15/12)

Unsatisfactory

Comments: These tongs have an outer casing made from some kind of metal that rusts. After three months of casual use, the casing has burst due to rust. Despite rinsing every now and then the tongs didn't really last.

"Do Not Buy!" - Product Review by Phil Schlanger (Posted on 7/26/10)

Comments: These tongs are not good. The inside pieces are made of metal. No matter how well you clean after use, water will still find its way inside the shaft. This will cause all internal pieces to rust. This rust will not be noticeable until the shaft splits open. Every time you use these tongs you are allowing small amounts of metal and rust into your system!
I only review the really bad products, and this is one of the worst I have bought for my tanks.
Do Not Buy these tongs!

"Garbage" - Product Review by John Riegel (Posted on 11/19/08)

Comments: Total junk, broke when I was checking it out. I squeezed the grip handle three times and the plastic mechanism that holds it together snapped like the hip of a 95 year old falling down a flight of steps. I tossed it on the order to get free shipping, but I thought it would last more than one minute.

Comments: Not sure why this product would be sold for use in tanks especially saltwater. Had mine 2 weeks and its mechanism is already rusting.

Comments: You pay for what you get. This works good, but after a few weeks it gets a bit sticky. You have to also wash it off with fresh water after each use. I do like it because it can reach to the bottom of my 28" deep tank.

"Great tongs but..." - Product Review by Jack Campbell (Posted on 3/5/08)

Comments: Great tongs, but only until the fall apart via rust. Don't expect more than a month or two usage from these in a saltwater tank. I used mine to pull out a small, lightweight frag of live rock that I rubberband some Nori to daily. They last maybe two months...more like one...before they rust and fall apart. They start rusting and splitting within 3 weeks. Yes, I've owned several pair of these the past 8 months, because I can't really find anything comparable for my large tank's access depth requirements. If you're looking at these for your reef tank, you've been warned! :(

Great!

Comments: A very handy tool for simple maintenance inside the tank without getting your hands wet. Smooth operation, seems to be a strudy design if not abused.
