Comments: Good light, I was concerned that it would put out a lot of heat (in refugium under tank) but that wasn't the case. My only real faults with it is the ballast has no on/off switch and the hardware to hang it kind of sucks (wire and come crimp on stays) other than that I like it.

Comments: This product is excellent. I've only had it running for 2 full 10 hour days, but so far the corals love it. As far as lighting intensity per dollar spent, this is pound for pound a champion.

Comments: Nice simple setup for the price. Easy hookup and low profile design (3.5") fits right under my cabinet. The Hamilton bulbs work fine, but lack the color of other 14K bulbs. It would have been nice if the electronic ballast upgrade was available as well as the moon LED lights that are options for this setup.

Comments: Well got these about two weeks ago and they are perfect! The size is great and the 14k bulb has a beautiful color to it. If you got the money and want to do your lighting right then get these and you'll never have a problem.

Comments: This is a good reflector but if you go with Hamilton Cayman Sun, you will see a big difference in the light output. Right now, I have two Hamilton Cayman Sun reflectors and they put out a ton more light than Reefstar does.

Comments: I have used this model and I can tell you the light spred is excellent. You get better spred from this pendant than any other on the market. Hamilton 14K bulbs are awesome. I would definitely recommend this model.

Comments: I was pleasantly surprised to see the addition of 2 LED moonlights on this fixture. The fixture is small and compact but lacks an on/off switch. Not a problem with a timer though. Cords are plenty long for remote ballast location and the mounting plate was adequate for flush mounting. The 14k buld produces a nice crisp bluish white very similiar to mercury-vapor. Nice product overall.

Comments: This is a very nice light, came well packaged and directions were easy to understand. I have been running the light for a month now and have had no problems at all.

Comments: Bought this for a 58g Oceanic, wow what a difference. Love the 14k bulb and so do the inhabitants. Stays relatively cool when compared to other systems and its a great price as well. Unit came strait from the factory.
