pond with the Hanna Instruments Combination Ph and Orp Tester from
Pet Store. This dual controller is made available in the market to provide a convenience to aquarists in monitoring the water quality of their tanks. It allows you to monitor the pH and ORP`s level in your tank instantly and accurately. The device has specially designed electrodes that can check both ORP and pH readings regularly.
This sleek elongated device is equipped with a digital controller that displays the level of pH and orp in a wide LED window. You can read and interpret the results with ease at an appropriate distance. It also has a high-quality impedance that minimizes reading error. The calibration knob can be adjusted and allows you to standardize the pH levels at both single point, or at dual points, according to your preference. The device has a switch that turns the system on and off. By turning the button on, the top of the set point measures the water pH and the bottom measures the ORP.
The Hanna Instruments Combination Ph and Orp Tester need a pH or ORP probe or both to perform your desired application. These are sold separately and are not included in the package.
The newest member to Hanna instruments Combo series of combination waterproof testers with advanced functions is HI 98121, designed for simultaneous pH and ORP measurements.
HI 98121 also reads temperature, which is continuously displayed on the dual level LCD.
An encapsulated external stainless steel sensor, positioned in close proximity to the pH electrode provides fast response. A fiber junction can be easily pulled out and replenished. And when finally spent, the pH electrode cartridge can be quickly replaced with the supplied electrode removal tool, reducing waste and cost.
HI 98121 works with common batteries and when turned on, displays the percentage of remaining battery life. The stability indicator ensures reliable readings.
Ergonomically designed for ease in handling, this meter will float if inadvertently dropped into water.
*Please note: pH calibration is required prior to use. ORP comes pre-calibrated straight from Hanna Instruments.
