If you are a hardcore aquarist and you love your aquarium like a pet, then you probably do not want algae growing in your tank. Then for you to prevent the growth of colorful algae, you need not only test the nitrate level but also you need to test the level of phosphate in your aquarium water. That is why the Hanna Instruments Phosphate Reagent from
Pet Store is developed for you to have a breezy and easy phosphate test for your
aquarium water.
It uses the ascorbic acid method and it can measure up to 2.50 mg/L. All you need to do is to mix a sample of your aquarium water with the reagent, shake it for one and a half minute and see what will happen. If your water contains phosphate, then it will turn blue. It is very easy, isn’t it? Then you can now measure the amount of phosphate through the meter. This reagent can be used up to 100 tests so that it has a relatively long life and each reagent is placed in separate packages so that you can store it very easily. If you also want your corals to grow normally, use Hanna Instruments Phosphate Reagent regularly.
