"Slim skim nano"
- Product Review by Josh Giles

Comments: I am pretty new to this hobby and this skimmer was very easy for me to setup and works flawlessly. I put the rubber band where they said to and I only have to dump the collection tray every other day. I would highly recommend this product.

"Excellent Skimmer!"
- Product Review by Sean Herman

Comments: I purchased the Nano Skim for my 29g tank. I have a light stocking, but this pulls out dark tea color skimmate. Wet skimmate with lots of bubbles. Operates well as a surface skimmer assuming you have an automated top-off to keep water at a constant level. This skimmer is small and well made.

My only complaints are that the skimmer cup neck is small/hard to clean and the magnetic clips for the back of the skimmer need to be stronger.

"Fits in Biocube w/ little mod."

Comments: Changing collection cup every 2-3 days. Really good stuff. Also like to mention this DOES fit the Biocube 29 where the original skimmer was placed. You have to just trim the edges a bit. You are even able to close the lid over.

"Doesn't Work In Biocube 29"
- Product Review by Jason Skagerberg
(Posted on 3/21/12)

Comments: I bought this due to Mr. Saltwater Tank's recommendation but sadly it doesn't work in my Biocube 29 HQI. It will fit in chamber 2 with some modification but is very sensitive to water levels and being my levels change all the time due to semi clogged filter floss (that gets cleaned twice weekly) or evaporation it just didn't work in that tank unfortunately. And I also had to remove the HQI light every time to take off the collection cup to clean it...such a hassle.

"It won't fit!"
- Product Review by Laura Grim

Comments: I bought this to put in the sump of my JBJ 28 gal. nano cube. The area where the original skimmer goes is too small to accomodate this skimmer. A shame as it appears to be a will built item.

"Solid, Well Built"
- Product Review by Chris Chen
(Posted on 1/18/12)

Comments: That's my main criticism with the Tunze nano, it feels cheap and plasticy. The Koralia nano on the other hand is solid. Tunze might have a bigger and better pump, the skimate I get out of the Koralia is way better than i get out of the Tunze. I just wish the collection cup was bigger.

"Decent"
- Product Review by Christopher Siplon

Comments: Solid quality and nice footprint. Seems to produce nice skimmate, but is not very efficient with surface skimming. If water level is too high, everything just flows in and out. It is definitely quiet, which is a plus.

"hydor nano skimmer"

Comments: This skimmer was very easy to put together and install in the back of my tank. Everything I have read about this skimmer was true. It is very quiet and skims much better than the original skimmer that was on it . Very little tuning had to be done. I would recommend this skimmer for any small tank.

"decent skimmer"

Comments: Good skimmer for the price. Skimmed out water for the 1st night but after tuning it in a lil....it has been great. Thick acrylic and well built internal skimmer. Would be great for those tanks with the dividers and filtration built in the back!

"Love it!"
- Product Review by Adina Winfrey

Comments: I bought this per "www.mrsaltwatertank.com"'s recommendation. I put in in my 16 gal FOWLR nano tank. After four hours, it was already producing slimy, stinky, chunky skimmate. I emptied the collection cup three times within the first 24 hrs! Working its tail off! Quiet, easy to assemble and set up. Im SUPER happy with this skimmer!

Comments: Using the Slim Skim for my 34G Solana and couldn't be happier. It required some trimming to use the larger skimmer but the results are well worth it! It is nicely built and works awesome, break in was quick and easy.
