"led light"

Comments: Overall nicely made light. The only drawback is it only pivots up and down, so if you have to mount it off center, that's where the majority of the light is going to be. I have an 8 gallon saltwater with a few corals and mushrooms. So far they seem a little more open. I wish you could leave the blue lights at night as well. I miss being able to see into the tank at night.

"Great Nano Light"

Comments: Overall, this light is excellent for nano tanks (12 gallons or less). I went with metal halide lighting on my last tank and it was too bright. So, I wanted a little par reduction without compromising aesthetics with a rigged up fixture for a par 38 bulb.

This little LED fit the bill. Just be certain to place SPS corals high in the tank directly underneath the light. Without optics, the par value quickly lowers the further away the placement.

Enjoy.

"Well Built"
- Product Review by Don Smith

Comments: This light is built like a tank, all metal construction. Very zen looking. As for light output, it is about appears to be about 60% - 75% of the light from a 13w flourescent. I would suggested 1 light per 5 gallons. Over my 8.5 gallon the lighting is dull.

"Retina 1 Review"

Comments: This is a very well made product, it is by no means a substitute for a halide fixture that would clip on a small reef tank. When I say small, I mean maybe a 12" Cube but no more. The LED's are bright but 50 watts or the equivilant is a big stretch. I wanted it for a Mr. Aqua 7.5 gallon bowfront nano reef, it does not produce enough light to cover 18". The fixture itself is very well made and that is why I purchased it. I mounted 2 stunner strips down either side with double sided foam tape and wire ties, its spectacular. Ultra bright and low profile. If you are doing a 3-5 gallon nano reef or planted tank, this is a great purchase, If you want to light up a reef in a 20" cube forget about it and spend some more money

"Nice Light"
- Product Review by Alan Dutton

Comments: I like how the light is setup. It clamps neatly on the back of my nano tank, and I believe it has enogh light for my 7.5 gallon Cube. I believe it would work well for anything up to 20 gallons, for small type coral stuff. mushrooms, zoas.. possibly more.. I had to reset the lens seal when i first got it, however, I like the sturdiness of the build. It looks elegant enough to recieve a "zen" comment from a friend. The light color is more of a whitish blue, and the LEDs provide "shimmering" water, similiar to MH's.
