Comments: Quality fitting with no casting marks etc on the interior. Easier than shopping at the mega hardware store and the selection of PVC fittings is better.

"Not for the ultra flex"

Comments: Bought to use for the ultra flex PVC but when I tried, it chewed up the internal as so soft on the inside. That tells me that you are supposed to glue that with slip fittings.
<br />When it carved inside that made clamping off leaks impossible pretty much.
<br />It was for an external pump so would have been tricky to glue both fittings and then try and screw on from return line to pump.
<br />The fittings are fine but for Vinyl tubeing in my opinion.

Comments: I have picked up a few of these from local hardware store and larger national stores but I was very impressed when I saw the quality of the ones from the website! The ones you get locally are not smooth, have sharp edges, etc. The ones from here look like they were individually made (obviously not though). Now that I see the difference between what I can local and will be the only ones I order.

Comments: i bought these to use with the check ball i got here. the barbed end is plenty long as is the threaded end but the threads are cut too fine to seal without the use of several layers of teflon tape or silicone. i did try the ones at my local hardware store and they seal fine , no weeps. imo the supplier needs to check the tolerance on there dies i cannont recommend them based off the ones i received. better of going to home depot

"3/4 MPT x 1 Hose Barb"

Comments: Marine Depot specifically asked me for a review of this product, so I am happy to comply. The 3/4" MPT is very 3/4", and extremely MPT. In contrast, the other side is very Hose-Barb, and exremely 1". On the whole, the item is also very plastic. I find this item particulary usefull in plumbing, especially if I need to go from 3/4" FPT to 1" flexible hose.
