Comments: You will not find it cheaper any where else. Perfect in helping to keep tank crystal clear & your bioload steady. The bubbles come out at the right size not breaking up the surface. Quite & reliable. You will find fish & your tank cleaners feasting on the sponge. Getting at the debri stuck on to the sponge helping you from cleaning it sooner then you needed.

Comments: I love the size of this filter for my 5 gallon planted shrimp tank. However, the bubbles are not finely diffused which disturbs the water's surface and probably doesn't oxygenate the tank as well either. I took this apart to see if I could put a diffuser stone inside the assembly and this did not seem possible without significantly altering and possible ruining the plastic pieces which hold the sponge in place. If this item had better oxygen diffusion I think it would deserve a 5 star rating!

Comments: The air lift tubing is to short, making the draw through the sponge innefective. The built in air difuser does not break the pump air into small bubbles creating large bubbles and making it rather noisy.

Comments: Great product to build up biological filter to move between quarantine tanks. I am also using these as a air driven backup to my breeding tank system. Air provides backup in case of power outage and main pump stops.

Comments: i was told it was back oredered and it would take a while to get. they kept me very informed and it came sooner than expected.
