Poor customer service

Comments: I have had this light on a 29 gallon bio cube for over a year. The light has been great but recently the suction cup mounting broke due to salt creep and rusting of bracket. Kinda a bad design for something to be installed near a salt water tank, but whatever the warranty is only good for 90 days. No big deal. I sent a email to jbj asking to purchase a replacement suction cup bracket twice but no response from jbj.
To me a product is only as good as the service behind it, and jbj won't even respond to emails requesting parts

Comments: Light works well brighter than I expected.
JBJ Nano Cube Refugium Light
(Posted on 2/21/12)
Comments: I am using this on a JBJ Nano Cube 28g Quad-PC tank to convert the filter area into a refugium. This works perfectly. Fits well and the magnet is the right idea for hanging this on the back of the tank. Because the light hangs tight against the glass, it makes for less light shining from behind the tank and more into the refugium.
My Chaeto algae is growing well and so are my copepods!
Bright and very Compact

Comments: I have had this on my fuge for about a week, so I cannot comment on growth.
It puts out a very bright beam, very little heat.
The beam is narrow, as mentioned in other reviews.
at .75" thick, this thing can go anywhere.

Comments: I used it to put a refugium in the back of a 34 gallon Solana. It's pretty much perfect for that application. The magnet is nice and made it easy to install. The lights are bright, but like laser beams so if you want to light up a larger area, not so good. For a small solana refugium, perfect. After a few months the nitrates dropped to zero and the algae is growing well.
