Description:
The first aquarium product of its’ kind, ZooPlex is a suspension of whole bio-engineered marine zooplankton raised in a remote area of the world

• Animal size is approximately 800 microns, ideal for filter-feeding marine invertebrates as well as planktivorous fish
• Provides incredibly high concentrations of  Omega-3 fatty acids and carotenoid pigments
• Contains essential amino acids, fiber, and high levels of color-enhancing compounds
• Surpasses brine shrimp nauplii in nutritional profile; may be used as a complete brine shrimp nauplii replacement
• Contains no yeast or sugars!

Directions:
Shake well immediately prior to use! Add 1 to 2 teaspoons (5 to 10 ml, or 1 to 2 capfuls) per 50 gallons aquarium water in an area of high water flow, or by target feeding. Feed several times weekly, depending on animal load. For best results, see Use and Interaction section on opposite sidebar.

Considerations for use:
Never before have reef aquarium hobbyists been presented with such a break through in the nutrition of filter feeding invertebrates, planktivorous fishes, and fish and invertebrate larvae. Omega-3 fatty acids and carotenoid pigments have been shown to greatly increase immune efficiency, growth rate, and coloration of aquatic animals. The species of zooplankton used in ZooPlex is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, biological pigments, and protein.  ZooPlex provides reef hobbyists with a natural zooplankton food source, one that is readily accepted by all types of LPS, SPS, and soft (leather) corals, as well as polyps, clams and other bivalves, and many species of marine fish (from gobies to juvenile angelfish and butterflyfish).  Kent Marine ZooPlex is intended for use with all types of filter feeding marine invertebrates, as well as planktivorous fishes.  For best results with invertebrates, alternate use with Kent PhytoPlex,  ChromaPlex, Coral-Accel, and Micro Vert to provide a full-range of nutrients. Studies have shown that most ornamental marine organisms have a wide-ranging diet in the wild, which provides essential nutrients for a naturally long and healthy life. It is therefore all the more important to provide captive marine organisms with a varied diet, rather than feeding the same type of food day after day; in this manner, natural feeding habits and nutritive needs are provided for in an aquarium environment. As when feeding any food product, pay close attention to water quality and do not overfeed.
