Comments: Used 2 of these to build a 100gal Skippy Bio Filter for a 1000gal pond. Not disapointed in the least. The Bacteria is growing great on this material. The water quality improvement was dramatic.
<br />Within 24 hours the water had started to clear. By the end of Day 2, I could see the bottom. It has been running for a week now and the water looks like tap water. Their is still some residue in the bottom of the pond, but even that is disappearing.

Comments: I like to use two pads in my sump white facing up, after a week I remove the top pad and throw it way. Then I put a second fresh pad under the old bottom pad, so now the old bottom pad is on top and in a week I'll repeat the process. This keeps my tank water clear.

Comments: I use these Bonded Filter Pads in my sump and they keep the water very clear, in my 300 gallon salt water tank, and trap lots of "stuff". They are easy to cut and rinse out as well! I highly recommend these to keep your tank clean and clear!
