Comments: This litter box practally trained my hamster as soon as it was in the cage. I have used many other litter pans before, and it is a regular sanitize and change all the bedding for weeks. With this one it fits perfectly in the glass fish tank cage, and having the cover made it not only cleaner but made my hamster feel safe to go potty. Plus i have saved tuns of money on bedding not having to dump all of it as often.

Comments: So far this has been just about perfect. It replaced a high-back corner pan we were using as an out-of-cage time litter box, and my chinchilla had no problem getting used to it. She inspected it for about 45 seconds and then as if it had always been here. Even with shavings in it, there is very little mess. She might bring a couple pieces out on her feet, but there is nowhere near the mess as with the open pan! And now no worries if she really gets playing and not paying attention - I don't think even she can tip this one, and if she does, the cover should contain most of the mess! On the down side, the plastic snap together hinge could have easily broken if I wasn't being extra careful when I put it together. Get a pair of pliers and gently squeeze the plastic hinge together. Oh, and the scoop is super tiny (scoop part maybe 1 X 1.5 inches total), but it is cute.
