Comments: The pump, and impeller work fine. It was difficult to see in the picture that to replace the parts you needed to get the pump, impeller and outlet piece.

<br />If I would have seen how the piece fit together it might have been able to make a repair.
<br />The bottom piece comes off and then you can check if there is a blockage to the impeller

Comments: This impeller is a reasonably hard to find item. When I found it at Petstore.com, I bought it. The impeller of any system periodically gets funky from bacteria. I like to swap out impellers so I can thoroughly clean the impeller in service. It's also a good idea to have a spare for any critical part that is hard to find.
