Maxima Deluxe Air Pump Information

Supply your aquarium with ample air by just using the Maxima Deluxe Pump (Dual Outlet) from Pet Store. This pump is designed to give optimum air output through the air-operated tools, such as air stones, air-activated aquarium decorations, ornaments, and air curtains. The dual outlet pump is ideal to use in tanks that carry up to 30 gallons or 115 liters of aquarium water. The pump runs quickly with an average of 2500 times 2cc per minute. It is energy saving and uses only 4.5 watts per hour. It is rated 2.5 PSI.

The Maxima Deluxe Pump (Dual Outlet) is crafted in a special compact design that has a flexed diaphragm which allows it to draw out high volumes of air effortlessly in a quiet fashion. It comes with a rheostat that helps you adjust the flow of air. It is made of durable materials that keep it strong and long lasting. The pump can be easily installed and maintained.

You can always rely on this pump to keep your aquarium aerated. It is powerful and effective that it is used by commercial fishing businesses to aerate their tanks. It creates bubbles in depths of water that other brands of pumps could not do. This is a great air pump for both saltwater and freshwater aquariums.

Good, not perfect Product Review by jeffnc (Posted on 11/11/10)

Great!

Comments: Our budge pump pushed air through a stone fairly well at 12", but at 16" it barely got a bubble through, so we upgraded. The Maxima pushes so much air it's amazing. And the rheostat is kind of fun as well. I'm sure this thing could power 4 accessories, but I haven't tested that number. The downsides are that it's not very quiet (as it advertises itself to be) and that you have to hook something up to both outputs. If you block the output, it can cause damaging back pressure. If you don't, it gets very loud. So I wouldn't use this pump unless you planned on using 2 air tubes. If so, it puts out a prodigous amount of air with relatively high pressure (have not tested how deep it will go) with a nice rheostat for adjusting flow.

Great!

Comments: This pump produces lots of air and noise. It is too big for my 55 Gallon Freshwater tank. Looks sturdy, so I expect to have it for a while. Probably there are no _silent_ pumps on the market.

Excellent!

Comments: This is great air pump. I use it in my commercial fishing bussiness to keep live fish or dungeness crab airated in about 50 gallons of sea water for my retail sales off my boat at the dock. It provides plenty of air and has been reliable.
