Comments: We have 8 Havanese, ranging in size from 9 to 15 lbs. I tried these scissors on one of the 10# dogs. It hurt my fingers when clipping her nails, plus the cut was not clean. I think her nails were just too thick. These scissors may work just fine on very small dogs, but I prefer the standard nail clippers for our dogs.
