Similar to feeder shrimp, the mysids need to be acclimated. Acclimate as you would a fish you want to add toyour tank. Mysids can be added as a direct feed for your fish during the light cycle, or if added during the darkcycle this would provide a chance for them to establish themselves and not get eaten immediately. Another optionwould be to add your mysids to the refugium. Once in the refugium they will reproduce and thier babies willget taken by the return pump and introduced back into the top tank. Mysids eat copepods, rotifers, flake food andmicroalgae to some degree.
