Nature Zone Cricket Breeding Kit Information

If you are a lizard owner or you own a pet that is an insectivore or likes to eat insects as a treat whether as its main diet or as a tasty snack, you should look into breeding insects for your pet to consume. One common insect that is bred for amphibians and lizards like baby bearded dragons, baby geckos, even tree frogs and crickets. Crickets are ideal candidate for amphibian and reptile food because they are small, lightweight and have a nutritional profile that your insectivore pet needs. Also they breed very quickly. Less than 12 adult crickets can produce hundreds of small pinhead-sized baby crickets within the span of two to three weeks. They breed that quickly and that much. How do you breed crickets?

Lizard pet owners used to breed crickets using shoe boxes and other improvised equipment. Thankfully, there is a manufacturer in the market that creates a specifically designed cricket breeding kit that makes it very easy for reptile and amphibian owners to breed their own insects. The Nature Zone Cricket Breeding Kit from Pet Store gives you all the equipment that you need for cricket breeding. They do not ship with live crickets. You need to get those on your own. However, this equipment is all you need. It is a plastic container that includes feeding cups, a full ounce of cricket food, and a medium where the crickets could lay their eggs.

It has a protective burlap cloth cover so you can put it on the eggs while they hatch and also to keep the warmth in. There are also pieces of egg cartons to that the crickets could feel at home. They can use it to climb on and hide under. It acts as their temporary home. The case which serves a terrarium for crickets is made of solid and durable plastic. While an ounce of cricket food may not seem like a lot, that is more than enough food for crickets because they are very small and do not weigh that much. If you need the right equipment for breeding your crickets to feed your pet lizard or amphibian, buy Nature Zone Cricket Breeding Kit today.

Comments: This Product was deceiving. It stated ALL you need to grow and raise your own crickets.NO BREEDER Crickets were enclosed and the label stating you had TO PURCHASE 6 to 24 LARGE Crickets was cut off at the bottom of the label on the box, therefore making it almost impossible to read. I have yet to see any results . I am not very impressed
