New Life Spectrum Small Fish Formula, Sinking Pellet Food 140g Information

When choosing the right food product for small fish in an aquarium, you have to consider pellet size, too. When pellets are too big, they are hard to eat, which can cause your pet fish not to eat them. Pellets should just be the right size for small fish`s little mouths.

The New Life Spectrum Small Fish Formula Sinking Pellet Food Pet Store has just the perfectly sized pellets suitable for small fish. At 0.55 mm, the pellets are easy to eat. They sink as well, so your pet fish can easily swim to the bottom of the aquarium to get food, instead of swimming after floating pellets that are hard to catch.

The New Life Spectrum Small Fish Formula Sinking Pellet Food is made with a formula that enhances fish coloring to make it more vibrant and vivid. This food product also contains krill and protein gathered from fish meal. It gives small fish the perfectly balanced meal they need, repels parasitic organisms, and improves the immune system.

It can be given to freshwater or saltwater fish. Simply add pellets to the water twice every day to feed your small fish. Make sure that your pet fish consume the pellets within a couple of minites.

Excellent!

Comments: I have a pair of juvenile clowns that are somewhat picky eaters. They will eat but are very particular as to what size and type of frozen or prepared food they will consume. I decided to give this a try just to add some more variety to their diet. I didn't expect them acting like piranhas in a feeding frenzy. They love this stuff and will hunt it down if I decide to drop some in on the opposite side of the tank. It's the perfect size for them. I've heard some good reviews about this product and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did.

Comments: After reading the background of this product, especially the ingredient list, I decided to buy it. I wanted a pellet food because I find they tend to be cleaner in the aquarium -- they don't break into crumbs and they float for a little while to allow the fish to get at them. While I like the ingredient list for this food better than the Hikari brand, I prefer the Hikari now after trying this brand because the pellets are irregular in size, making some too big for my small fish. They also sink very easily, allowing very little time for the fish to get at them. My catfish wind up getting most of the food, which is fine, but I need to feed the little guys, too. If I didn't have the catfish, a lot of this food would just fall and go uneaten causing a lot of waste and pollution in my tank. Spectrum needs to take a look at the Hikari micropellet and try to get the same size and consistancy. God bless!

"Great alternative to flake" - Product Review by Mario Natividad (Posted on 11/24/08)

Excellent!

Comments: I really like this product. I mix this with larger pellets from new life spectrum to provide a mix of size for all my fish. From the small gobies to the large tangs they all seem to eat the small pellets. Since switching to New Life Spectrum I have not had any disease outbreaks and my hippo tang has no signs of diseases. I also like this food because it sinks and does not just go into my overflow box where it is wasted. Because it sinks slowly all my fish get a chance to eat it. I no longer need to feed any flake food. This product is great.
