Comments: Using this as a GFO reactor. Extremely efficient. No dead spots as I've found in other similarly priced units. GFO stays fluidized and constantly moving.

Comments: Excellent piece of equipment...Stylish and well made. I have three running on my system, one for bio-pellets, one for carbon and one for PO4 media.

Comments: I agree with the others, very nice quality. Wish it came with hose clamps, or website set them up as an accessory. But i guess that would be over the top.

<br />I bought a Nextreef reactor first and a Little Fishies second. What a disappointment the TLF reactor was compared to the solid construction of the NextReef! Definitely worth the extra money.
<br />Even better yet: customer service. When I had some questions in regards to modifications for a specialty application they went out of their way to share their own findings and even provided me with parts to do the conversion.
<br />I think NextReef reactors are fantastic and their customer service is unbelievable. I ? NextReef!

Comments: I bought 4 of these for two reasons: The price was very reasonable and all of the reviews were great. Yes, this is a quality product, which compares easily to the more expensive ones out there. Comes with everything you need except tubing and pump. Includes plastic hose clamps, thread tape, and an extra nylon screw. I hooked all 4 of mine inline using quick connect adapters on the tubing for when I will need to change the media. These things hold an enormous amount of media, you wont be disappointed, I know I'm not! This was an excellent purchase.

<br />The thumb screw top makes it easy to take off & add media. Very well made. To make easy to maintain I put Eheim cutoff valves on it (which are great). I took the sponges out since the neozeo media is large enough not to fall through & I don't have to worry about dirty sponges.

Comments: The NextReef MR1 Media Reactor is the best of both worlds, you get quality equipment at an affordable price. Most other comparable units cost twice as much.

Comments: I recieved this reactor for christmas. I LOVE IT! The quality is better then anything out there. I love that the lid stays tight and sealed because of the thumb screws. These guys knew what they were doing when they designed this excellent reactor. AWESOME PRODUCT!!

Comments: Received my reactor. Great instructions and so easy to setup. Added Rowaphos as a filter media, a Maxijet 600, and set 'er up. Just remember to run the first bit of water that goes through the reactor out of your tank to keep the brown water out! If I ever need another reactor for any other purpose I will definitely buy the MR-1! Works great on my 90G and will hold more than enough media for my 210 in the works. It feels substantial and seems superbly made. Excellent product!!!

Comments: Outstanding piece of equipment. Well made and solid. The one I received was missing the rubber O-ring seal but after contacting the company they immediately sent out the missing seal priority post with a couple of extra sponges free of charge. I don't feel it would be fair to give this product anything less than 5 stars even with that little hiccup in the original delivery. After all, this review is solely for the quality of the finished product. No leaks after 2 weeks running with a mini-jet 404 and smooth consistent flow throughout without any channeling. I am running this with Rowaphos and with the extra sponges have layered a second partition in the upper half for chemi-pure and poly-filter. Water quality in my tank has already improved hugely. Buy this item if you want a slick way of improving water quality without dropping media bags or poly-filter in the sump and wondering if they are getting enough flow. This company makes three sizes, this is the middle size. Would be nice if this store carried the whole line.

Comments: I added one of these my 150g reef tank with a Maxi-Jet 400 and love it. Very well made, very easy to fill and install, instructions are good (with pictures!), and it even included nylon hose clamps. Removable hang-on adapter is a nice touch - mine sits next to my sump so I didn't need it. Quality is MUCH better than anything else I've seen, and it holds at least 3x as much as my old reactor. Great!
