Comments: I ordered the Pawz 1z because I have a five pound Papillon and I don't like to use a collar on her. I liked the idea of the built-in harness. Although the coat fit OK once it was on, it was very difficult to put it on and take it off. he material is rather stiff and there is no zipper on the back, only on the neck. I had to pull her front legs through the opening. I was actually afraid I'd break her leg or pull leg muscle in putting on or removing the coat. A large size may have worked, but, at 5 pounds I thought the size 10 would work.
I ended up going to a local pet store and getting a coat that has velcro on the front and underside. There is a small opening where I can attach a leash to the harness. I also got a size 12. It works much better. I can get my dog in and out of the coat in seconds instead of struggling and worrying about hurting her.
The 1z is an interesting concept, but needs improvement. The video makes it look easy, but its not.
