Auto clean litter Box
(Posted on 12/2/11)
Comments: I really had a problem with my rescued 9 month old Kitten. She would use a regular litter box for urine but my rug for everything else. I was cleaning my rug all the time and had 2 regular boxes out for her use. I cleaned them everyday too!As a last resort, I ordered this self cleaning system. I didn't leave her old litter box close by, as recommended. wanted her to have no choice but to use the new one. I put the clean litter from her other boxes in the self cleaning unit, because it had her scent. She was near by while I set it up and watched me fill it. She used it to uninate right away but used to floor once yesterday for everything else. Now she is using it for everything and I love it. The motor does not frighten her at all. It is always clean and I like not having to buy special bags for it!
Keep Your Receipt
(Posted on 7/18/13)
Comments: The concept is great and the thing is wonderful while it lasts... but it uses two motors, and one or the other WILL burn out in the first six months.
I always lose receipts; I liked this box so much (concept-wise) that I gave them the benefit of the doubt when my first one crapped out (no pun intended). So I went and bought another one. Then that one burned out as well (but luckily I managed to find the receipt) and they replaced it. Then the replacement burned out (of course I had no receipt for that one), and, masochist that I am, I went and purchased a FOURTH one. That was about four months ago; it just died as well, and I'm looking at other options. Maybe the kind you have to spin to collect the waste?
Again, great concept, but KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS. You'll need them.
